We have a full bar and restaurant with plenty of seating available. We also have 2 patio’s to choose from one dog and smoke friendly and one not. Our menu features appetizers, lunches and dinners with specialty cocktails. We also have seating for special events 20 to 250 you decide and we will make your visions a reality.

The steak fries are awesome!!
Food was ok. Waitress got my order wrong. I was happy for a GF bun option. The rest of my party said their food was fine. Nothing spectacular.
They were having sound issues with their radio and the static was really annoying.

This place is a gem!!! Frantastick service cool atmosphere but oh my the food steals the show! Order the Pork Ribeye! Trust me! Plus a really well stocked salad bar with very fresh crisp veggies! Quickly becoming our favorite place!!

My daughter accidentally ordered a Pizza.She got the wrong place.I called them and explained, and they wouldn’t do anything
because they already made the order they made her pay and said if she did nt they would call the cops on her for not paying . So I payed for the pizza and not sure what they did with it. But they also said we paid for the agredients so u have to pay for the pizza. We live a hour and a half away. She meant to call the legion in taconite mn where we have a tab and we pay for it.
But instead of saying accidents happen it’s ok she said if we didn’t pay for it we could explain it to the cops. I told her I would pay but accidents happen I will never eat there again and I would never send any of my friends there . She was very rude. . My daughter called me crying saying iam going to jail. I accidentally called the wrong place. She told them I only had like 10.00 on my card they said if u don’t pay for it I’ll call the cops. When she called and asked to cancel it, she admitted to her mistake and they still wouldn’t accept it.

You’re going to have a great night whenever you’re at the Taconite! Great food, service, atmosphere, and an events center that’s capable of hosting large weddings yet can handle small group type meetings as well.

We hosted a bridal shower at Taconite and Carrie did a great job! The bride wanted a Mamma Mia theme and Carrie created a Greek theme for the food and created two “drink of the day” for us! We will definitely be back!

You will not only find plenty of unbelievably tasty and ample sized dishes/meals here….but these folks who cook, serve and create the atmosphere are the pinnacle of what kindness, generosity and service Minnesota style is .

We were there for Mothers day. We had 10 of us so quite a bit of money. All the hot items on the buffet were cold or barely warm. Some still tasted good but like I said almost cold. Beverage server came by once. They started taking tables and chairs all around us down while we were still eating. Made you feel like come on people it’s time to go We are cleaning up. Was not worth the money and no we did not complain but sure we probably will never be back.

This is a great spot if you enjoy wings, which happens to be my favorite. They have great burgers and the Philly sandwiches are exceptionally good ! Friendly employees and relaxing atmosphere in the bar area or quiet dining room. I enjoy this place very much !
