Great place for lunch or dinner! Prices are reasonable and affordable and they do have a good kids menu as well as many different choices for other menu options. Our waitress was excellent and often came by just to see how we were doing. Food was delicious and will be back again.

After waiting 30 mins to get an appetizer when our food finally arrived there was a A HAIR COOKED INTO THE FRIED CHICKEN!!!! The waitress had mentioned the supervisor would me by to speak with us, waited another 20 mins for that and her remade plate (Togo cause everyone else had already started eating) the supervisors reason for the cooked hair IN the food was “our cook didn’t have a hat on, I made her put on on now” comped the one plate… offered a dessert to which we chose the chocolate cake, was delivered a Cookie Monster instead…. Before today I would have chosen to eat here over just about anywhere else, now I’m not sure I will be returning! I worked here before (16 years ago) and have eaten here regularly since, never have I ever had such a terrible experience!!! To spend just under $100!!!!

I ordered the Shrimp Alfredo to go. It was very filling. Our order came with the new honey butter crossiants. My ordered came with garlic bread and that was plenty for me but I ate them room temperature crossiants however they were delightful. Im sure they would pair well with a warm drink or them warmed. Or a nice night time treat. I liked my Alfredo and the shrimp was seasoned well!

Clean restaurant. Very friendly staff. Our waitress was exceptional! Great food. It was hot and fresh. I’ve never received my food any quicker than I did here. The cheese dip is really good. The chicken and shrimp meal is fantastic. We’ll stop by the next time we’re around this area.

Loved the service. Food was . My Buffalo chicken wraps were bland and my wife’s steak, which was ordered medium, came out rare. ♂️. Loved our server. She was awesome. This places food just isn’t up to par. Even the onion rings were fried so fast that the actual onions were still pretty uncooked.

Our favorite dinner spot! Quick and so affordable, you really can’t beat it.
Our favorite thing is actually the size of the booths! We have a very high energy kiddo and having the big booth gives him extra room to move around and not be in anyone’s way.

We got to Cheddar’s a lot. We use gift certificates a lot. HOWEVER, on 2/11/2026 we went to the Joplin Missouri location and ordered our usual. Monte Cristo and 1 order of onion rings.
First out was the onion rings. Folks they were dark brown and BURNED. They were not golden light brown like others we receive nor did they look like the picture on the website.
When the Monty Cristo arrived it was Also Burned. The sides and bottom were Black from being burned. OMG what happened. We were told to speak to the manager and we did.
Later we received Picture Perfect onion rings. GREAT.
Then we received a very good Monte Cristo. Light Brown and cooked well.
Makes me wonder if our meal was old and sitting around or cooked and left on the heat too long. Something happened. We received burned food. Unacceptable.
So the bill came and someone charged us for a second YES, a second onion ring. Then the manager removed the second charge.
The waitress told us we were comped for the onion rings. But reviewing the bill, we were not comped anything.
Customers – Beware. Check your food and take action.

This place used to be so good. They had delicious sirloins that were tender and juicy. Not sure what has happened over the last year but they have gone away downhill. Steaks tonight were way overcooked. When I order to go, I order medium rare so that by the time I get home with them, they shouldn’t be cooked now than medium. Tonight both steaks were between medium well and well done. They were tougher than shoe leather and you could barely cut through them. The service was extremely slow. They didn’t bring it out until 17 minutes past when it was supposed to be ready. Carrots were shriveled up like they had been sitting out and then hurriedly reheated. My previous 5 stars is now 1 star and I do not recommend.
