I’m still upset about a meal my boyfriend and I shared here nearly 3 years ago. My partner ordered chicken and waffles and was underwhelmed. My pancakes were SOAKED in butter. Now, butter is good, but I pressed my fork into the pancake and butter oozed out around the tines and onto the plate. It was inedible. I sent it back, explaining the issue and received another disappointing piece of buttery foam. The waitstaff was unconcerned and even rude. I left without eating and paid full price for the meal.
This meal was so bad, my boyfriend and I still bring it up occasionally. Usually along the lines of, “at least it wasn’t as bad as that one place with the disgusting pancakes.”
I know… people should have such problems.
