A delicious, home-cooked meal felt relaxing after traveling for several days. The large, crackling fireplace added warmth and cheer with a romantic note to our evening. Our waitress was prompt but not overbearing. With the Southern style cooking and antique decor, it would have been easy to imagine we were in KY or TN, except for the Northern accents emanating from the other guests. Just for your info, if you order turnip greens, don’t be surprised to have a generous amount of ham in with the healthy greens.

Overall my friend and I had a great experience. If we’re ever around the area again we’d definitely come here. The food was delicious and the mocha I ordered was perfect. This review is mostly for our server Nicole. You are amazing and thank you so much for our great experience.

The service here was amazing! We had a group of 25 men. Our waitress handled the orders and requests without issue and was extremely patient. I wish I could remember her name. Not one man there had a complaint. From the hostess to the lady at the checkout, everyone was very pleasant. Thank you so much.

We love this location because it’s always very clean and the staff is just wonderful. I love the biscuits and gravy, and the fried apples, I get them every time. We love their breakfast the most but their evening food is great as well. Trisha is who we had today and she was just a delight and was incredibly attentive. We will keep coming back!

Just a heads up: this location has a remarkable talent for ‘forgetting’ silverware, condiments, syrup, and apparently any item that makes the meal edible. If you actually want to enjoy what you paid for, check the bag yourself, because quality control clearly isn’t happening. There’s nothing quite like getting home, opening your food, and realizing your pancakes are totally inedible. Thanks for the unforgettable dining experience.

Service from Trish was fantastic and is always very accommodating to our needs. We’re very particular about service and the food we order as we have some food allergy needs, and are generally on a very tight schedule. But we come here because some of the staff have become lifelong friends to us, mainly because they are very personable, take their job and their customer interactions serious, and aren’t standing around overlooking what their fundamental goal should be-providing solid service to their customers.

Honestly until about a year ago I hadn’t been to a Cracker Barrel since I was a kid…it had probably been about 25 years. The reason was that as a kid I recall the gift shop smelled heavily of potpourri or some strong fragrance and I was very sensitive to that. So anyway, last year we went for a family birthday dinner, and it was so good! The gift shop is amazing and there are no strong fragrances at all. The prices on everything there in the gift shop are reasonable, I even cross checked Amazon’s prices and they were higher! As for the atmosphere, its very warm and inviting, this location has a huge fireplace that creates a very cozy atmosphere. The service was good, our waitress was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The food is always good, this is definitely comfort food, the chicken noodle soup is really good, with thick egg noodles and good flavor. The biscuits are also really good, not too dry or bland, I usually get one of their chicken dishes, the grilled chicken tenders are very good, the roasted chicken is my favorite, but they were sadly out of that tonight. Several in our party ordered the chicken friend chicken and they all loved it. Their chicken is never dry! Over the summer they had a smores skillet dessert that was OMG delicious! This is a place that I feel we can come and eat and spend time together, be comfortable and not feel rushed. In nice weather you can also sit on the front porch and rock in the rocking chairs they have for sale Before I finish, one last tip!!! Cracker Barrel is often conveniently located near hotels, when traveling I have found that you can get a $6 take home meal with any entrée. This is a great deal and allows me to have a cheap delicious meal to microwave at the hotel. Obviously traveling or not, you could pick up one of these cheap meals for lunch the next day as well.

This was the first time dining at this location and was very happy to do so. Food and service was excellent. Also, we felt special unlike other restaurants offering same category of food. Of course, the gift shop is special too. A great experience, food and great value.

Family of four eating . Hash brown casserole was hard and burnt. This was Sunday so should be fresh. I ordered strawberry cheesecake got regular pancakes. I sent them back. They literally took the pancake smeared some cheesecake topping over the top of them and topped them with some Strawberries. This was the worst meal I’ve ever had Cracker Barrel. Service was mediocre we ordered the Cinnamon roll Skillet we asked for a plate so we could each put one on our plate. She didn’t bring them for about eight minutes after the delivery of them. Refills were scarce. When the manager came to talk about the hash brown casserole, she made excuses for a while. It was like that, and then told me that there wasn’t very many strawberries on the cheesecake cause she started pushing them out and that’s why I’m used to A lot more. She stated I’m only supposed to get three strawberries. Won’t be returning
