Great place. Came here for lunch and got the lunch special for 9.99. It is a really good bargain in my opinion. The food was really fresh and good. The pizza had some great cheese options. The salad was pretty good as well. The service was fast and the staff were friendly. The restaurant was a comfortable temp and we were able to have our team meeting there without issue. Will definitely have it again at some point.

I had the black bean soup and bbq chicken chipotle pizza. Don’t bother with the soup. It didn’t have very many beans and tasted like the barbecue sauce from the Chipotle salad. The flatbread had great flavor but probably could have been cooked 5 minutes more to get the crust crispy. Overall, not my best meal at crushed red but I will go back because their salads are wonderful.

We had a couple of pizzas. Dough is soft, not crispy and firm, but the pizza was solid overall. Everyone there was super helpful and the place was incredibly clean and up to date.

I totally loved the South Coast Shrimp pizza! The taste was perfect! My only negative is that they charged $5 for one little bottle of IBC root beer which is a total ripoff! I was expecting to pay half that amount!

This was my first experience with Crushed Red. The staff are very friendly and very helpful! The restaurant was clean and welcoming; you seat yourself. They serve alcohol, you can even purchase a bottle of wine. We arrived an hour before closing and were told to take our time. Our salads were amazing with the option to build your own or choose from the menu. The Cabo Diablo Stiks are excellent. They are topped with a sweet sauce that tasted like honey (might have been, I’m unsure). The pizza was okay, not as tasty as I had hoped. And again, you can choose from the menu or build your own; we had a mixture. Overall the experience was great! I will certainly give them another try.

Crushed red makes great gourmet salads. They are expensive, but the presentation is part of the price. The warm herb goat cheese dip is a great appetizer; the nuts and honey are a wonderful added touch. The service at the Clayton location can be wanting at times. But the food is always good. Their patio is also pleasant on a warm summer evening.

Was greeted promptly and very friendly. Get dinner and a show with one of their fresh salads as it’s made right in front of you. Food was delicious. Can definitely recommend.

My sister took me to this lunch spot in Clayton and pitched it to me as a nicer, on-off Panera – and I believe this was largely accurate. Their menu has a wide array of soup, salad, sandwiches, and flatbreads. It is a little more interesting that you typical lunch place and I appreciated the innovative ways they use flatbreads to fill out their menu.
We were there for an early weekday lunch and Crushed Red was practically empty. We split hummus and I got a Chicken Caesar flatbread and Butternut Squash soup. All of the food was really good but also very expensive. I did appreciate how the portion sizes were not massive. Perfect for lunch.
One unique thing about this place is the pepper bar that they have available as self-service in the middle of the retsuraunt. I liked this as a self-service option if you want to spice up your meal. They also allow you to endlessly customize your salad should you choose to get one.
This place was good, not great. I would recommend it for a work lunch or a quick bite but it is nothing special.

Food was great. I had the shrimp pizza and my wife had the mushroom pizza. The real name was much fancier and sounded more appetizing but that’s all I remember. I would highly recommend. Not cheap but this is the city and this is Clayton. Great atmosphere and the staff was very nice. BEST THING OF ALL IS THAT THEY CHECKED MY ID when I paid with my debit card!!

I actually think I seen a hyena running around on their outdoor grounds at the crushed red pepper in Clayton
Reservation is definitely required. It is suggested to call in advance maybe two or three hours before even a day. It is rumored that Tony Clifton been seeing there a few times ordering some food
