Our waitress, a young woman, was terrific – I want to be clear about that.
But when we entered the restaurant, however, we were told by someone else to ‘wait outside’ because our table was not ready – and not very nicely.
Well, I refused because I am disabled. I sat down at a table in the back, which I believe was a staff table until our table was ready.
It was also quite hot in the restaurant. The AC was barely on, if at all. So not the relaxing evening I hoped for my last night in Saigon.
From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcome — the waiter was exceptionally kind, attentive, and helpful, doing his best to accommodate everything we asked for.
The food was beautifully seasoned, authentic, and well explained, offering a great example of how traditional Vietnamese dishes are meant to be prepared and enjoyed.
Lovely atmosphere and well-deserved 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Just a small heads-up: the dish is quite spicy, so if you’re sensitive to heat you may want to ask for a milder version.
Service was also wonderful. Snow, who served me, was very welcoming and friendly, which made the experience even better. Overall a great meal and a pleasant visit.
My partner & I dropped in without a reservation for dinner. We were seated immediately, which was just before an influx of guests around 19:30 (Monday).
We opted for the morning glory, vegetable spring rolls, vegetable pancake, traditional fried pork, washed down with a Bia Saigon & a Sprite.
The morning glory dish was well-cooked and very moreish, paired well with the Bia Saigon.
Our main courses were served and our waitress, Rose, explained how to eat them using rice paper to wrap into individual rolls. This was a first experience for us, but Rose explained it very well. The combination of the dipping sauce (some sort of soy sauce vinegar mixture) and our mains was great.
The dishes were served in a timely manner and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Good music too.
Would recommend trying this place.
Staff was super helpful and friendly.
I was served by Snow ❄️
Food delivered to the table quickly. But very fresh.
I had one of the signature dishes and Snow demonstrated how to prepare the wraps. Hers definitely tasted better than the ones I filled myself!
Would definitely recommend.
