Supersalad was a win for my daughter who can be picky and my could-have-been-professional-cook wife. Healthy option that tastes great.
Tuna poke bowl was delicious albeit a bit light on volume for me (#bigeater).

I had an amazing lunch at Beertown Public House in Waterloo! The weather was perfect, and sitting on their all-season patio made the experience even better. The atmosphere is lively yet welcoming, and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible, making it comfortable for all guests.
Parking was convenient with free 2-hour spots nearby, and for longer stays, paid options are available
The staff were incredibly accommodating. For example, the menu had Fish Tacos, but they happily substituted them with Chicken Tacos for me, and they were delicious! We also ordered a Yucatan Chicken Bowl, a sandwich, and a Caesar Salad, and everything was perfect—fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared.
For families, Beertown is fantastic. They have a kids’ menu with differentoptions.
There are also plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-friendly options, including plant-based bowls, burgers, and other mains, so everyone in the group can find something they enjoy.
Overall, Beertown Public House offers excellent food, a friendly and accommodating staff, and a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere. Sitting on the patio and enjoying a relaxing lunch made it a perfect outing. Highly recommend!

Beertown in Uptown Square has a great atmosphere for watching sports, delicious food and a big drink menu. It’s a go-to spot for my friends and I to catch up, however, I can’t say I’ve had a similar experience at any other restaurant:
My friends and I went to Beertown on Saturday for cocktails and apps, because we like the atmosphere, and the servers are friendly!
We were seated in the front, on the lower level, below/behind the area with the large screen. While we were waiting for our drinks, two men, seated behind and above us, were smoking in the restaurant, very visibly, and probably for a good 20 minutes. The vapour was blowing down my friends and I’s shirts and nearby our table. It wasn’t pleasant to watch people vaping heavy smoke with their mouths wide open right behind us. I was watching, and it took the restaurant staff quite a long time to say something to the gentlemen, despite them standing not even a few feet away 🙁 as soon as those customers left, our experience was much better.
I’m pretty sure this was probably a one-time odd thing, but it was surprising and unpleasant how long it took for it to get resolved.

Good to see so many vegetarian/ vegan options on the menu. Although the taste of the food can be improved especially the main course. Really nice vibes and very friendly staff. Very large variety of beers. Highly recommended place if you are in the area.

I visited the place as a bday dinner with my sister. We ordered calamari as our starters with wings and a Salmon Meal at the end. We had a Blueberry Cider drink, the service, the food and the atmosphere were all amazing. We had our privacy and were also socially involved in the environment. Overall the place is has a very good atmosphere for couple dates, family dinners as well as team meetings.

Loved our lunch here! Been here a couple of times, and the service and food never disappoint! We sat in the Beer Garden and the vibes were amazing as we got to enjoy music (from another event) and the last bits of summer 🙂

I used to be a big fan of this place. And why wouldn’t I? After all, my wife and I had our first date their 10 years ago and had a great experience. So I made a reservation for our 10 year dating anniversary in advance requesting a booth (I would’ve liked the booth we originally sat in, but since they are usually busy I figured any booth would be nice and a little more private).
When we arrived we were told their were no booths available, but they had a “romantic” spot for us. That spot ended up a tiny table squeezed between two busy, boisterous tables. And amazingly it was right across from a booth that remained empty for the first 30 minutes we were there.
The service was otherwise rushed and inattentive, which I guess I can understand (I get that it was busy). Not being able to hear each other and having the worse table in the place kind of ruined our night though.
Good place to grab a beer on short notice I guess, not a great place to make reservations and hope to have a special night with your partner.
