A very small business with only 3 or 4 small tables. Frequent take-out customer. A hidden gem for Cantonese style cuisine. Huge take-out business with a small kitchen so orders are a little slow come out. Plan accordingly by ordering ahead of time.

What a surprise! Great food and cool experience.

Five of us arrived from out of town and walked in to see the four person table occupied and one person at one of the two person tables (yep, three tables total). The proprietor moved the two folks at the four person table to the two person table (they were regulars and happy to move) and grabbed the spare chair and suddenly the place was at full occupancy!

The menu is expansive and required a bit of explanation for our group to pick a meal, but absolutely everything was great. The winners were a dish consisting of well fried chicken and noodles and the orange chicken (my choice). Everyone at the table said the chicken was perfectly cooked and the flavor and spice were just right. The portions were generous, but alas I had no leftovers to take home.

It seemed like 50 takeout orders went out while we were there. Obviously the locals love the food.

Took a visit last week to try one of the highly-praised Hong Kong style dishes in Quincy. We shared 4 menus which came in staggering portions. The portion for each dish was almost equivalent to 2 meals, and we also got a free hot milk tea. However, we weren’t very impressed with the overall quality of the food.

While these may be authentic Hong Kong style dishes, they certainly weren’t the best I’ve tried. Only menu that I liked was the salt and pepper pork chops. I didn’t like how they put napa cabbage in a lot of the dishes. The slimy texture of the cabbage and its flavor weren’t very good combinations with the rice and the meats. Although I grew up eating a lot of cabbage, this certainly didn’t seem like the best way to integrate greens into the dishes. The fried rice was also bland, and we ended up leaving most of it.

I ordered the shrimp wonton noodle soup, wonton and beef brisket and salt and pepper chicken wings. The food taste good and portions are decent, If you order off the website directly, you save it around two dollars a dish as compared to Grubhub

Food is below average, drink is ridiculous bad, asked for 紅豆冰 a very popular hongkong drink, it’s definitely not the way it should be (see pic). I told the boss lady drink is so blend and no favor, she grabbed my drink went into the kitchen and added 2 teaspoons of sugar and handed back to me. I told her I don’t want it anymore, she told me try it again first and refused to let me send it back. Obviously service is not okay at all, I was by myself trying to finish my lunch quick so I could free up a table for them, 2 mins later a party of 4 walks in and waiting for my table, they handed me the bill instantly.

Key point is don’t order their drinks if you want to drink something looks exactly like sewerage water.

Great food, but what happened to the restaurants in Quincy? This is the third Chinese place we been to recently in Quincy that’s smaller than a NYC studio. It literally has 3-4 tables only. Great food, but no large party, and prepare to wait if you want to eat there vs takeout.

Call in take out
Sold us overnight old chicken which taste badly sour, soy sauce chicken and concubine Chicken. The owner reject to full refund with bad attitude. After argument, I got half refund of half chicken, which is different from what I promise over the phone call that said full refund.
Very disappointed !

Edit: after eating here for a couple of years I would recommend the Pork Chop w/ cheese & tomato sauce (takes awhile to prepare, order 30min in advance), Sweet & Sour Pork w. Pineapples, congee, hot & sour soup, and milk tea.
The space is pretty small so I typically do takeout and everything keeps well. As people have mentioned, the portions are enormous!

Hong Kong (or Cantonese) style cafe serving all kinds of food. I highly recommend the chicken. Many people just order chicken to-go. Milk tea is not bad as well. Also try different kinds of stir fry dishes, fry rice and fry udon.
