I visited this spot last weekend and had a mixed experience, landing it at a solid 3 stars for me. The drinks were the absolute highlight—creative cocktails with fresh ingredients that packed a punch in the best way. I tried the spicy margarita and it was spot-on, perfectly balanced and refreshing. On the food side, the tacos were alright; nothing groundbreaking, but they got the job done with decent flavors and portions. The place itself looks amazing—vibrant decor, great ambiance that makes you want to linger. Service was top-notch too, friendly staff who were attentive without being overbearing. Overall, worth a stop for the drinks and vibe, but don’t expect taco perfection.

I had an amazing experience at Cien Agaves Tacos & Tequila. It was my first time so I wanted to try a bunch of items. I ordered an amazing dip. Chicken tortilla soup and Hawaiian shrimp tacos. Somehow they all ended up being extremely affordable because it was happy hour. My bill was only $24. I was expecting it to be $60. I’m definitely going back again. All of the staff really seemed to enjoy their job and we’re having fun in high-fiving each other. I feel like a manager stopped by every five seconds and asked if I needed a refill or if I needed salsa and if everything was OK. The vibe in old town Scottsdale is really cool. There was live music happening outside. Lots of people walking around.

Cane here late at night on a Wednesday and boy was it worth it. The ceviche and guacamole were fresh and flavorful. The fajita bowl with the shrimp was a great choice. And the steak and shrimp taco and carnitas taco were recommended and the waitress was right. Amazing flavors and some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in a long time.

The Baja fish tacos had an odd aftertaste, didn’t care for it too much. Their street corn side has a bit of heat.
Parking can be somewhat challenging. Highly recommend securing a dinner reservation. We waited about 20 minutes as a walk-in.

Stopped in here on our last night in town and the food was great. The salsa was amazing and tasted very fresh. For a drink I got the Arizona Prickly Pear Margarita. So good. I wasn’t incredibly hungry so I just went with two tacos, the Diabla Shrimp and the Quessabirria. Both hit the spot. I’d definitely come back when I visit again.

We were seated near the bar & the bathroom. Waited so long for a server to acknowledge us & take our drink order + chips & salsa only to find out this server was also one of two bar tenders. Took almost 20 minutes to get the drinks plus even longer to get the chips & salsa…several other servers walked by with chips & salsa while we were basically ignored. Finally, after 20 more minutes our chips arrived and our order was taken. We understood it was a Saturday night & very busy but why have bar tenders try to take food orders & make customers wait & wait to even get any service? The amount of money we paid definitely did not equal the very poor service we received.

Great food and atmosphere, in old town Scottsdale, nice casual atmosphere, food prices were reasonable, happy hour for some appetizers and drinks , had the cheese burrito, burrito and beans were good , didn’t care for rice, the guacamole appetizer was very good, the pomegranate on top was different but good , hope to be back , thank you!

Visited based upon ratings and it did not disappoint. Coincidentally came on Taco Tuesday just barely ordering drinks and appetizers under the 6pm happy hour cut off. Service was outstanding ensuring we benefited. Tacos were all outstanding personally I prefer the Diablo Shrimp Tacos mas caliente with no rice. But all else, especially the guacamole and queso we’re outstanding!

Above the rest!!! The food was the BEST Mexican food I had in many years! i raved about the food days after my visit. I had combo enchiladas and a Margarita! If you want the best food in Old town paired w/ great service go here Highly recommended!!! My son loved his Quesadilla as well!
