Beautiful Italian place for dinner. Delicious quality, delicious simplicity in the ingredients, just not my favorite. The chocolate cake was amazing. The bisteca Florentina was of excellent quality. Perfect beef. The wild boar hard cuts were amazing. Sides, and apps could of delivered more flavor and Italian legacy enrichment.

3/5/2026 (Thursday). The restaurant boasts a cozy environment, with plenty of room in the front and back of the restaurant. We ordered the Tagliatella con ragu di coniglio special, as well as their Filetto di manzo al Chianti con patate – if you’re able to score the tagliatella, I would highly recommend it, even as a shareable plate. If we weren’t pressed for time we would probably have ordered more – definitely spend time here and order a lot – it’s worth it.

Thanks to the staff for making us feel most welcomed.

Incredible tuscan food, this restaurant was a favourite of Stanley Tucci and it is clear to see why. The pappardelle al ragu di cinghiale was delicious and a generous portion. The tiramisu was one of, if not the best I’ve ever had.

The restaurant was open for dinner earlier than stated on google maps, otherwise we may have struggled to get a table. It is absolutely worth eating here if you get the chance whilst staying in Florence.

Very solid place.
I would like to highlight the crew and their dedication to Toscana food culture.

As in every well ran restaurant this place has a daily menu added to a regular food list.

We tried Tuscan Bread salad and Tomato Soup – and then pasta with rabbit ragout.

For main course we ordered a veal chop with a side bone – and it was a little disappointing, meat was overcooked and tough.

In spite of that fact I loved the place.

We were sent to this restaurant by our Italian dentist in New Jersey! It was absolutely wonderful! The food was amazing! My steak was so soft probably the best I have ever had. Sadly I could not eat it all. The only disappointment was some small dog barking the whole time that the owners never stopped him. Very thoughtful. The staff were very accommodating and kind and were frustrated that Italy permits dogs in restaurants. The ambience is stunning such a beautiful medieval building. Easy to find across from a church.

It’s almost impossible to choose only 3 dinner spots in Florence with so many good options available but I am SO glad this is one of the places we decided on. Between Reddit, Stanley Tucci and personal recommendations from friends this one felt like a no brainer.

We had a 7:30 reservation for Wednesday evening and upon arrival and check in there were two lines. One for people waiting for a table with no reservation and one for people waiting for their table with a reservation. We arrived on time and were seated after about a 15 minute wait. The ambiance of the restaurant is super warm and cozy and the service was attentive.

For dinner we ordered 3 different pastas to share. I really appreciated that they split each pasta for us before bringing them out. I know that they are know for their cinghiale pappardelle but our favorite pasta was the Chitarra Pomodoro with burrata. It was simple and perfect and I wish I was eating it right now. Tiramisu was great as well if you are a dessert person but I honestly could have also just gone for a fourth pasta.

For sure make a reservation in advance and definitely prioritize this restaurant if you are visiting from out of town.

We were lucky enough to visit the viral Stanley Tucci’s favourite restaurant in the beautiful Florence. We ordered the ravioli, meatballs, and wild boar pasta. It was spectacular. We also ordered their tiramisu and a affogato for dessert which was unmatched! Highly recommend making reservations and visiting the next time you’re in Florence!

The lines will tell it all!

The staff are friendly, fast, and kind!
Their food — I tried their Florence steak and OMG, it’s another way to fall in love with Florence!
Their spritz — I could easily drink three of them and still want more! The sweetness and ratio in the Hugo spritz work like magic!
Their tiramisu — a sweet kiss to end your meal. Traditional, legendary Italian tiramisu — as it should be!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!

What an interesting place. Recommended by my friend who has sadly passed just the week before we went. The ravioli is out of this world and I had the wild boar. We enjoyed the bruschetta and met Tony. It’s clearly very traditional here and highly recommended

The food here was very good but not sure it meets all the hype I’ve heard about it. The spinach and ricotta dumplings were our favorite dish we tried, and the tiramisu was actually disappointing (maybe our expectations were too high after hearing so many people say it’s the best). The ambiance and service, however, were impeccable! Would definitely still recommend and I still think this is the best restaurant we tried in our two days in Florence.
