I was driving through Mt. Pleasant, TX, and decided to stop by Lala’s Mexican Food. It was the best decision I made! The food was absolutely amazing. I tried their birria de res plate, and it was delicious. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and authentically Mexican. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal. I will definitely be back the next time I am driving by!

Best authentic mexican food around. This place is located out of town but it’s a hidden jewel. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is very homey and clean. I ordered the Birria de res ( beef soup) which came with hand made corn tortilla , cilantro, chopped onion, and lime.my My boyfriend got birria de chivo ( goat soup). Both were very delicious great flavor I can’t wait to go back soon.

Absolutely delicious. The food was amazing. I got the chicken enchiladas, they are the best. I’d recommend to stop here to eat. The staff is very friendly and helpful when you are stuck on what to order. The interior is nice and clean. I’d come here with my grandparents and even my own personal family, and we have never had any problems with the staff or food. Always loved this place as a child, and I even love it now.
