The cheesy wild rice and cheese curds are an interesting combo. Both the curds and rice are good but not sure if its the best pairing. The fish po boy was crispy and tasty. The fries were stunning!

It’s a beautiful space (recently redesigned and they’ve added a new speakeasy upstairs). Food was excellent, surprisingly sophisticated and an abundance of complex flavors! I had the stuffed mushroom entree and now realize all my years eating portobello mushrooms fall flat compared to theirs; it is a must have!
Server was very attentive and provided great service, warm greeting walking in and out of the space by host and bar staff. Will definitely be back!

The food is good but the drinks are great. They have this gin and floral liquor drink that I literally think about all the time. I visited this place with my friends when we traveled for a concert and spent most of our afternoon out on their patio. Since then, I try and make it a priority to visit any time I am in Minneapolis. If you want a good night out with friends, this would be a great place to go! It can get quite busy, but it’s not surprising that this place is popular.

The Gnome is my favorite place in St. Paul! Their food and drinks are both amazing! Their sandwiches are really good, and their appetizers are big enough to be a meal. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very fun and comfortable. It’s a great place to watch a game, hang out with friends, or just grab a drink.

I came here on Sunday with a reservation with friends. The parking is very limited and tight. You can either park in their parking lot or street parking. We luckily got a spot in the parking lot. The pavement in the parking lot is a little rocky and has unevenness so if you are wearing high heels, just be careful.
Upon entering the restaurant, we were not greeted. we also had a server and his demeanor and attitude was expressing that he did not want to be there. We were also disappointed that most of their food items were not available. We had request requested for a few items and things, but we’re not completed at that time. The server also did not ask if we wanted to tip but proceeded to give himself a 20% tip.
Overall, besides the service, all the food was great and brought to us in a timely manner.

Charlie really made our birthday dinner experience the best. The food was delicious, as little loud, but thats to be expected at a gastro pub. Had delicious walleye dinner – others had the prime rib, Nordic chicken, beer can chicken, and beet and goat cheese salad. All rave reviews from them on their food. The chocolate cake, though a MASSIVE portion, was on the dry side.

Tom was an awesome server! We had the borrow perogis and they were delicious. The beef was so tender it melted in your mouth. My boyfriend had the beef can chicken and absolutely loved it. I had the turkey crab melt and it was honestly the best sandwich I have had in my entire life.

Old review…Probably would have been better if my food came out hot the first time, and if my original servers did not try leave me with cold food after “reheating” it…but its all good food wasn’t too bad. Really appreciated the lady that came to come help correct the situation! Beyond that vibes pretty were good….
