The food was delicious. Our server was very great. They’ve changed the menu a lot. Several of my favorite menu items are no longer on the menu. This location is one of the ones that they’ve apparently ‘partially’ remodeled. The dining area has been painted on the upper portion of the walls, they’ve left the lower portion of the walls as they were. The chairs and tables look the similar to the old style, minus the oil lanterns and of course the peg game. I ordered the Crispy Chicken dippers with fries and fried okra. My husband ordered the Grilled Rainbow Trout with Mashed potatoes and fried okra. The chicken dippers aren’t one of my normal choices, but they were good.

My visit to Cracker Barrel was a pleasant experience, and I’d definitely go back. The service was splendid, with friendly and attentive staff making sure everything was just right.
I started off with an iced water and a mocha iced coffee, which was smooth, rich, and had a nice balance of sweetness. For an appetizer, the fried pickles were crispy, well-seasoned, and served fresh. My main dish, the Crisp Tender Dippers, was a solid choice—the tenders were crunchy and juicy, and the honey mustard, maple chipotle, and Nashville hot sauce each added their own unique kick of flavor. I also had a side of mac and cheese, which was creamy and comforting, though nothing extraordinary. The Oreo cheesecake pancakes were a sweet and indulgent treat, perfect for wrapping up the meal.
Overall, the food was good, and the atmosphere was cozy as always. While not perfect, everything was enjoyable, and the excellent service made the experience even better. I’d give it 4 out of 5 stars, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

Husband & I had the best breakfast in a long time at Cracker Barrel in Bessemer, Alabama. The eggs were perfect, gravy hot and delicious, biscuits were great. Our waitress was a young lady that wanted us to have an enjoyable meal. Eager to please and ready to serve. Refills were timely. Store #301 hit a home run. Great job MacKenzie and cook staff!

I had a great experience at the Cracker Barrel in Bessemer, AL. We were seated right away, even on Thanksgiving morning, which was a nice surprise. The menu was limited for the holiday, but the breakfast we ordered was really good and freshly made.
Our server, Tony, was the highlight of our visit. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and was truly a pleasure to interact with. Friendly, attentive, and welcoming — exactly what you hope for in great service.
Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable visit. I definitely recommend this location, especially if you’re lucky enough to get Tony as your server!

The Server (Ms. Dominique, Bessemer, Al. Location) was exceptional and treated her entire assigned food section like family. Customers were requesting her section, because of her attentiveness, friendliness and quick service. Her professionalism, social-skills, charismatic and friendly demeanor are unparalleled and must be rewarded. Her skillset, experience, passion for the food service industry and genuineness, makes her an excellent candidate for a top management position. Dominique’s multi-tasking ability run circles around others. She informed me that she moved from South Carolina to Birmingham, somehow I sensed that. Her southern hospitality is unmatched, hands-down anywhere. I’m a former Navy Food Safety Inspector of 20+ years and have inspected facilities around the world, and have never been more impressed, than witnessing Ms. Dominiques gifts of genuine food-service hospitality. She makes everyone feels special like family and place everyone in a good mood, regardless of the political climate. Dominique’s committment to excellence is a reflection upon herself, family and the Cracker Barrel organization!

I wanted breakfast yesterday and my family and I went to Cracker Barrel in Bessemer. We were seated time we walked in. We had the sweetest waitress, her name was Tatyana and she was the best. I ordered the Old Timer’s Breakfast and the boys ordered Grandma”s Sampler with pancakes and french toast. The food was delicious. I also got some candy before we left.

We had a really great dinner at this Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. The restaurant is kept clean and the store is well stocked with a huge selection of merchandise. The food is very good, not and fresh with a nice selection. The service here is also very good, friendly and attentive.

Overall, I placed a mobile order 40 minutes before closing and the app stated that my order would take 20 minutes to complete. Technically, it took 37 minutes.
This only allowed me 3 minutes to check to see if my order was correct. I ordered a special from the menu in which the order could “not” be modified.
The ticket system for the kitchen implied that I could select options to remove from the main entree’. This is not possible via mobile app and may be a corporate issue if the local ticket system is not communicating with their mobile app platform.
However, the manager allowed me to demonstrate the error in which I totally appreciated. She could only provide the minimum in correcting the order due to the kitchen being closed. I truly appreciate her efforts and she deserves a raise.
I ordered the blueberry pancakes as a side in which I paid extra to only make it home and noticed that they provided the original pancakes instead. It’s very disappointing, but the quality of the food was good.

We had a good late lunch here on a trip through Birmingham. This was a good location, the menu was complete and the service was great. They had the obligatory peg game on the table as well that helped pass the time.
The food was good and hot and service was quick for our little stop while on a schedule.
