Needless to say but I will be taking my business elsewhere
Mistake. When I placed my new order at 2:21pm, it replied my order would be ready at 2:51pm. Nope. At 2:52pm, I received a text message that my order will be delivered at 3:26pm. Over an hour after I ordered it. This is absolutely ridiculous. NEVER AGAIN. I AM DONE WITH THIS PLACE.
1-3 does not deserve my business.
I have placed two orders for delivery. I live in a condo, and the first delivery the driver refused to bring it to my door and threw it on the ground outside of the building. I didn’t know until 4 hours later when someone knocked on my door and said they found it outside on the ground. I called and got my money back.
The second delivery was ordered at 3:05pm and said delivery at 3:35. At 3:55 I called, and he said it would be here in a minute. After I hung up I received a text message saying my order would arrive at 4:31.
Save your time and money and order elsewhere. Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had. They are 0-2 and I’m not giving them a third chance.
Place was perfect. Food ..perfect.
But especially.. the young man who took our order, made a perfect salad for my wife.
We ask for the chicken (for the pizza) on the side.. for our dog.
Om gosh.. he put in a special bowl.
And.. very polite!
We will return next time through town.
In previous interactions doordash drivers refuse to follow simple instructions, sit in the diner parking lot for 10+ minutes after confirming they’ve recieved the food, items purchased go missing, and they keep leaving their hot bags on my porch. This visit was no different.
As other pizza chains had started to switch to this horrible business model, I relied on you guys to provide stellar service with your own delivery drivers. In house delivery drivers were held to a higher standard, and things seldom went missing. If it did, it was an honest mistake. I didn’t care if I have to wait over an hour for my food, because I knew that it wasn’t due to a careless driver.
Unfortunately now, I’ll have to be getting my own purchases regardless of who I order from because I am not going to support a company who can’t figure out a successful way to make sure that their drivers are doing what they should be, and be who they say they are.
I am not saying that I’ll never get food from your establishment again. But now that I have to get my own food every time in order to keep that horrible company off my property, there will be other options available.
For those that could actually get through this lengthy rant, their boneless chicken is the best. But they would be better off sending a message that they actually care about their delivery clientele before I order delivery again.
Bring back your drivers, and if you’re using Doordash to supplement overflow, I’d rather wait for my pizza.
