Arize Bistro – Long Beach’s Hidden Gem for Breakfast & Brunch!
My mom and I absolutely loved our experience at Arize Bistro in Long Beach! The owner, Pat, is so warm, funny, and welcoming. He makes you feel right at home. The atmosphere is beautiful, cozy, and comfortable, the kind of place you can sit back and truly enjoy your meal.
We had the mango pancakes and chicken & waffles, and both were incredible. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. On another visit, I tried the omelette, and it was just as delicious. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite. Can’t forget that pineapple mimosas either. Definitely had me feeling spicy.
Pat is amazing at what he does! Very attentive, genuine, and full of personality. Arize Bistro has easily become my favorite breakfast and lunch spot in Long Beach! As Ms. Long Beach, I’m always exploring local gems and this one’s a must-try for anyone who loves good food, good vibes, and great people.

We called ahead of time to figure out what the wait was going to be but it wasn’t bad at all. You order first, pay, and then you’re seated. Delicious food and drinks. We loved all the lemonades. Staff was very friendly when we asked for extra sauces on the side. All the potatoes in the breakfast are seasoned to perfection too.
Parking is street parking in downtown Long Beach so make of that what you will. We didn’t take long to find parking though since it was Sunday. Your mileage may vary on a busier weekday.

I got lucky I went when it was empty seeing reviews that it could take a while to be seated was what concerned me the most with 2 babies. It was 6 adults and my 2 babies and the owner hurried and put 2 tables together for us. We got our drink orderes first and they where all amazing. I wasnt much of a fan of the butterscotch cold brew but we also got :
-Caramel latte 8/10
-Thai tea 10/10
-Thai tea coffee w/ matcha foam 10/10
-Starburst lemonade 10/10 (leeche, passion fruit and strawberry)
-Strawberry cucumber 9/10
Once we got our food we noticed how big the portions where and we where amazed by it but it didnt stop their ill have to admit this is the best chicken and waffles I have ever had!
Everything we got was honestly a 10/10 no complaints whats so ever!

A hidden gem with amazing food. Visited twice and had to order the same 2 dishes: mango sticky rice pancake and the chicken waffle. The pancake is big portion, soft and fluffy, the mango sauce is stunningly delicious and the diced mango tastes fresh!
The chicken is thick, crispy and juicy. I also love their apple americano as it is very refreshing. Lastly, staffs are really nice and welcoming. Will definitely visit more often and try their other options!

This was my initial visit to this establishment, and I must say that it was quite spacious, allowing for ample room within the premises. Perhaps it was due to the early morning hour of 10:30 AM, but there weren’t many customers present. I opted for the breakfast plate, unaware that it consisted of a sandwich. Consequently, the server kindly provided me with an additional waffle, which was a pleasant surprise. The customer service exhibited by the girl was highly professional. However, I cannot recommend the potatoes as they had an average taste and a peculiar flavor. On the other hand, the waffle was delicious I’ll have to try it with the chicken. I would definitely bring others to this place, although I would advise against ordering the potatoes. It is worth noting that the establishment started to fill up with more customers as I was leaving, which is a positive indication.

Arize is a great neighborhood spot! I order my faves each time and they never disappoint. I highly recommend the mixed berry waffle and popcorn chicken. Both are so yummy. If you are local or visitor, you must try Arize restaurant.
