Im not sure what the point of the mobile thru is if it merged with the normal drive thru lane. Cars behind us kept leaving with their food while we waited. I opened my food and this is how it was presented. I also asked for extra pickles and this was all I got. The box was soaked from my tomato sitting on it and falling apart. The food was still good but very disappointing in the presentation.

It’s “HARD” to be consistently polite, correct, fast, good food and pleasant to every customer… for EVERY customer is different, and you CANNOT please every customer… but yall do, morning til night. This is the slowest drive thru in Hampton Roads. Need to get rid of mobile thru until yall have a better system. Merging the regular drive thru with mobile thru also makes no sense. I ordered 10min before getting here I should be able to drive thru and get my order quickly not wait behind people who just ordered seconds ago. Usually nice staff but the drive thru deters me from ever going here smh

Unpleasant Experience at This Location

I came to this Chick-fil-A location yesterday to pick up a Grubhub order, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. One of the employees was extremely rude and spoke to me in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner. I was simply there to pick up an order, but the way I was treated made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome.

I’ve always appreciated Chick-fil-A for its great customer service, so this situation was surprising and upsetting. I hope management addresses this issue and ensures all customers and delivery drivers are treated with the same kindness and respect the brand is known for.

From reading other reviews I’m seeing this location is known for being rude to customers so I’m not surprised now about what happened to me yesterday. The lady was heavy set and caucasian older & had one of the nastiest attitudes she started ordering me around saying I was standing in the wrong area to pickup an order they have two different pickup areas there’s a nicer way to talk to people. Talking to me like I was one of her employees or something. If you are a delivery driver or even a customer I’d avoid this location unless you want to deal with being talked to like trash. They definitely don’t operate and treat people with the same respect as other locations I’ve been to as a customer and a driver picking up an order. DO BETTER treat people how you want to be treated. But I guess I can’t expect much in the area it’s in very hood location.

I usually have a good experience with Chick-fil-A, but this location has been frustrating lately. During breakfast hours especially, they frequently forget items in my order. It happens whether I go through the drive-thru or dine in, which makes it inconvenient to have to go back and ask for things that should have been included in the first place.

The staff is generally polite, but order accuracy needs to improve. When you’re trying to grab breakfast quickly before starting the day, having missing items defeats the purpose of the convenience. I hope they tighten up their process during the busy morning rush.

This location is always my go to however my most recent visit was not pleasant. I placed a mobile order and headed to the restaurant. Once I arrived the line was out to the street and I just didn’t have the time to wait 20 minutes plus. So I decided to leave. I called the restaurant told them the situation and asked for my mobile order to be cancelled and the young lady said she had done so. I confirmed the cancellation with customer care as well. Later on I receive an email from a team member requesting “proof” of purchase and denying my refund AFTER my order had been cancelled. I didn’t like the tone of the email nor did I appreciate being charged for food I never received. I have yet to receive my refund and the charge is still pending on my credit card. Be mindful of this when placing a mobile order at this location.

Food was refrigerator cold. It was the only Chic Fil A that I have ever had where the food was terrible. We told the manger Julia and we were not offered anything in return for our terrible experience. I ate the sandwich because I was very hungry but I informed her that the Mac and cheese was disgusting and only ate a few bites and was told, “I hope it’s better next time.” I will not return and recommend you go elsewhere. The staff that helped us at the register was very helpful and amazing, I apologize for not remembering his name.

What was the purpose of a designated mobile drive thru! When they first started this, they wouldn’t even inform people they were in the wrong lane to get their order taken. They made you drive ALL the way around to get back in the correct line. Now they still have the separate lane but everybody is back in the same line as soon as you get around the corner to receive your food. One of the workers said it was so that they can “engage” with all of the customers better. Sounds made up, but whatever. Put it back or don’t do it at all!

I have never ever had any ChickFilA get my order wrong ever. Until this ChickFilA. They get it wrong regularly. Always check your bag before you leave. It’s maddening to get home & find out you’re missing items.
