Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Our first Whataburger experience and it was really good! We ordered double cheese burger meals and upgraded one of our drinks to the limited edition cup ($2). Another person in our party ordered a chicken salad and oh my goodness-it was HUGE! Also came in a sturdy plastic container with lid which was nice because it was such a large portion. I loved the fact that they offer ketchup and napkins table-side. We can see why this is such a mainstay for Texas.

My first visit to Whataburger was solid! The burger was big, well-cooked, and tasty, though it came with mustard only, which isn’t my usual. Adding ketchup fixed it easily. The fries were a highlight—crisp and flavorful. The young staff were chatting among themselves a bit too much, not rude but not super attentive either. Overall, a good meal, and I’d come back.

Food was dry. Ordered a Taquito w cheese for breakfast with a coffee.
Went to pour my coffee and both machines were out. I told the lady at the Cash register. She wasn’t wearing a name tag. But she worked October 16th at 7:30 am. The only Register. She had the absolute worst attitude. All this and I haven’t even mentioned the amount of fruit flies buzzing around the place. Horrible experience. Do better.

I gave those scores because the bathrooms in this location are horrible!! They were dirty and people don’t even know how to go to the bathroom here! Used toilet paper was thrown on the floor, and both bathrooms were really , really dirty. Idk what is wrong with people here in El Paso! Can’t even keep used toilet paper from the bathroom floor. Those people are disgusting! And the whataburger workers should keep checking on their bathrooms every so often! We all know some people are so disgusting that they don’t even know how to use a toilet here! How can you let it get like that! Last time I come to this location!

I came through drive through repeated my order twice.
The cashier confirmed the order back to me.
She allowed me to drive off with a wrong order (crime)
I asked for a bowl only and she clearly gave me what I ask for but she failed to fix my receipt for over charging me for a meal.

I stayed at the window both personal inside just look at me in their driveway so I had to blow my car Horn just to get their attention even though they was looking directly at me standing at the window.
But still failed to give me the correct order nor did she give my money back from her mistake of overpayment on my card totaling $9.41
. So I came back around asked for the receipt confirming they over charged me.
I’m only addressing this now because it’s starting to be a on going issue with the same business.

Horrible service!! I ordered 1 combo and 1 sandwich. Still waiting over 30 mins they the drive thru. The young girl taking orders is very sarcastic and condescending. Very rude she must be having a bad day… wouldn’t be so bad but it’s every time she gets my order. Probably doesn’t like me very much because I don’t take her attitude.
But it’s everyone here… they just came by to all the vehicles to get out receipts. Maybe training new employees? Who knows? There was no explanation , just came by grabbed our receipts without evening letting us ask what’s going on.
Very poor service from this establishment.

Order a grilled chicken sandwhich with no sauce and to add jalapeños the register guy put plain so when I received my sandwhich it had sauce and no veggies I told the guy I asked for just no sauce he took the sandwhich to get it remade however he made a face when I receive my sandwhich again they just put four little jalapeños like seriously and I asked a lady I’m sorry to bother but can I get more jalapeños and she as well made a face and gave me more jalapeños they fail to follow intrusions and make faces when they mess up
