Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I went through the drive thru so I can’t comment on the atmosphere. I haven’t been to this particular restaurant in years after a very bad meal experience. I have to say they now have excellent food that was hot and served with a smile! I will go back again!

Called and asked to see if they were hiring first off just the impression that I get on the phone is seems like there must be a lot of women only hiring and number two very rude for the manager to get on the phone. You would think they would be happily in and in very acknowledgment through the phone. She sounded very tired and depressed to be honest. That being said she was the manager I was from my impression. It looks like they need help because as stated on many numerous reviews, they failed to get our AutoCorrect and almost 100 of others and it seems like there’s nothing being done about that, but not only as you can tell one of the workers posted on their own store location while on the clock, which clearly says there has to be some type of contamination because policy says that you don’t supposed to be actively on the grill and actively on the phone so that just shows you that there must be a lot of leeway there this facility should be looked at for not only cleanliness but gender profiling a person should be able to call and ask if they’re hiring, and for some reason, they’re never hiring in the moment, but there’s a women that are constantly getting hired

This location has never gotten my order correct and they do not take accountability for their mistake and management staff is extremely unprofessional especially Kelly she needs to be fired immediately and i would love for a corporate representative to contact me so I can file a formal complaint since I was denied the contact information to the corporate office and district manager to report her I’ve never experienced anything like that experience and I need to speak with upper management since going to the location to request the manager doesn’t yield any results that’s why I had to come to the internet in hopes that somebody in the company corporate office could please contact me or reply to this review with some information so I can formally file a complaint against Kelly for her inexcusable unprofessionalsm . It’s genuinely never my goal to attempt to have anyone fired but she clearly doesn’t wanna work and I highly doubt whataburger went to her house and knocked on her door to recruit her for that position and clearly she applied for that position so if she didn’t wanna work she should not be there because no customer does to experience such inexcusable levels of disrespect from an employee at a business that they’re patronizing. Never leave their establishment without checking your order because they’ve gotten it incorrectly so consistently that I believe it’s a deeper issue and I’d like to be contacted by someone from management that I can discuss this matter with so we can find a resolution to this huge problem

Yesterday at 1215 I walked up to the counter to place my order Tiffany P was standing there when. She looked to her right and there was an employee that was off had walked in so Tiffany p desided that I was not very important and didn’t need to place a good order and walked over had had a full on conversation with this latin lady there was another employee that walked past her and said do you see there are customers at the counter there where three others behind me I order a #1 no mustard no tomatoes I ordered the yeti cup and wanted to use the cup as my drink and she said she can’t do th at I know for a fact you can I have done it before so I paid for both cup but oh well the fact is she need not be on a register if she does not know how to do the job of customer service so I called back and spoke to Tammy which happens to be the third person talking with that lady that walked in and she was so face about the apology on the phone and said because I wanted a refund I would have to talk to Cindy Hall tomorrow after 8 am so she will get that call in the morning which it today please I hope y’all have a better customer service with Whataburger Cleveland’s do than I did

The food was okay. I ordered for five people—very plain order, nothing special, everything as listed on the menu. I only asked for one of the burgers to be made normally but add cheese, but they mixed up two of our burgers with another customer’s order. Accidents happen, whatever.

However, I ended up having to tell five different employees what needed to be done to fix the order. Then they got busy with multiple DoorDash orders, and after about 20 minutes, someone asked again what I was waiting for. When they finally filled the order, it was still wrong.

While taking my son to the bathroom, I saw an employee crouched in the corner on his phone. It seemed like there were too many people trying to act like the boss and no real leader in charge. This place has potential, but they need a true leader—or at least one main person taking charge.

Despite the nasty weather outside, the employees were in good spirits when I visited this location. My burger was barely warm, my fries were floppy and cold, but my chocolate malt was pretty good.
