The short of it: Very mediocre.
The long of it: Ordered takeout on a saturday night through the website, which worked well. Got there to pick up at the specified time and the place was practically deserted. It had the old “mom & pop” restraunt vibe. When someone did finally come to the front, they said my order would be an additional 20 minutes (was actually 35). I didnt mind waiting, though. When i did finally get the food and drove it home (only about 5 minutes away), much of the food was cold, and didnt really taste terribly great. It wasnt bad, but it wasn’t very good, either. We had lots of leftovers and very little interest in keeping them.
Pros: nice website and inline ordering. Price comprable to other nearby chinese restaurants. Good variety, a couple of the dishes has a very unique taste
Cons: slow (i suspect they only have 1 cook), outdated decor (not the kind of place you’d want to take a date), mediocre tasting food (the hot and soir soup was especially disappointing), some food was either cold or not cooked all the way.
Last thoughts: i don’t loke giving negative reviews to restraunts that are clearly stuggling, but I don’t feel right not saying something in this case, either.

Love this place for lunch. I am here for dinner tonight. We must come here often because she says I have your usual table ready for you. I am doing the lo mein dinner and the wife is doing something new called three kinds which is a spicy garlic base with chicken shrimp and beef.
The three kind plate was in a spicy garlic sauce the wife says so delicious. Great ham fried rice. I love the Lo Main it’s my go-to. Wontons were good. I will be back for sure.

They were very friendly and I actually enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. It’s nice to be able to have a conversation. The wontons had lots of cream cheese and the egg drop soup was really good. I also enjoyed my Mongolian beef and Chicken Chow mein combination plate. The price was very good for the amount of food that we got.

Extremely dissatisfied. The soup was supposed to be spicy, it was not. The combination plate is a good deal but it’s basically on the same level of Chinese prison food. I honestly can make better Chinese food at home. Plus, when my Dad and I were there, only one person was working there. $25 for a plate of prison food. Avoid at all costs.

I have liked the food but they say they are closing after today which is 19 March. It’s probably for the best since there’s one person who is working and lots of orders. I have waited an hour and watched people walking out constantly. If you run a business it has to be be cooked correctly and somewhat timely although I’d take correct over timely if I had to choose. This place is understaffed and you can’t expect people to plan a day in advance for dinner at a resteraunt. I wish the owners well if they do close.

Wasn’t happy with the food at all. It just wasn’t good. I actually considered taking it back. Rice was dry, probably old. The wontons had no filling at all and tasted old. The chicken sucked. One of my fave Chinese places to eat is China Star in Ogden. In comparison this place sucks! Next time I’ll drive the extra distance and get China Star! You should do the same!

The egg rolls were delicious! . Kung Poa chicken used to be my favorite meal here and I was extremely disappointed because the chicken was dry and hard; so much so that it was inedible. I could not stab it with my fork and definitely could not chew it. The vegetables and peanuts in it were good. The lo mein was ok. The egg drop soup tasted like canned corn. The hot and sour was yummy. Service was good. All of the dishes were glass, except the dinner plate we were given to eat off of were styrofoam, which I really don’t care for and is bad for the earth.. The restaurant was sparkling clean.

Great food! We have come here a couple of times lately, for lunch and dinner. Super fast service. Been impressed by the quality of the food and the serving sizes. Used to be a favorite of our, but we moved away. It is becoming a favorite again. Even with a little bit of a drive.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! The waitress couldn’t give us any details on what was in some of the meals and stared at us blankly when we asked her questions. She kept sending wrong orders to our table that were meant for another table. We then ended up with a waiter that was a little more efficient. The waitress lost the ticket and the waiter had to come over and ask us what we got. I did receive the wrong meal. I would not recommend. This is only in 1 visit. WOW! Needs new management.

We had been going here for over a decade and I’m sad that this will be our last time eating here. It had been good food and service up until about a month ago. It was sad to see it how it is today. The staff is very understaffed and I felt bad for our waiter. It took 15 minutes to get our Waters and another 30 minutes to get our food. When it did arrive, we didn’t get our rice that came with the meal. We informed our waiter and never got the rice until the end of the meal when it came in a to go box. The food was edible. Nothing more can be said about it. During our meal two parties had walked out; one didn’t get their order sent properly to the cooks and the other got their food mixed up. I feel sorry for the waiter but this is how it was the last two times we were there. I won’t give them a third chance. There are other options for Chinese food around Roy and Clearfield.
