Stopped here for dinner. We were greeted and seated promptly. Staff were all friendly and pleasant to chat with. Our food came out hot and plentiful. My husband stated that his jambalaya was one of the spiciest he has ever had. He was very happy with it. My shrimp was very good.

Very disappointing experience. Do not come here if you have any sound sensitivities in your party, this is easily one of the loudest restaurants I have ever been in. Very live room, and if someone has a celebration, they yell and play a massive siren sound, it was horrible. Server brought another bottle of beer to someone in our party that did not ask for it, already opened, which we refused because we didn’t want a second one. We waited over an hour for our food, and some of it (mostly the shrimp in the boil) was clearly frozen and practically inedible. We added another lb of crab an when we got it, it was one body with a couple legs, and another body with one single leg. Obviously the body has pretty much no meat and took up most of the weight, so we felt very cheated. The bathrooms are abyssmal, worse than an airport. All in all, our dinner took 2 hours and was overpriced. The only reason this isn’t 1 star is because I really liked the garlic noodles. But it’s not worth coming here for them with all the issues. I will never return

Our room at the Hyatt was not ready when we arrived from the airport, so they suggested we get lunch next door at the Angry Crab Shack & BBQ. We weren’t sure what to expect as we walked across the parking lot. We weren’t even sure they were open. However, once we opened the door and walked inside, we were greeted by delicious smells and voices of other customers.
We were there on a Wednesday afternoon and it was fairly empty. So no long wait list to get inside. Service was quick and efficient. Our server was super friendly and helped us select some favorites. She was right. Food was delicious.
The atmosphere was very relaxed and fun. “Graffiti” of signatures and messages were on everything. Reading everything written on the walls by our table helped us pass the time as we waited for our food, which did not take long. We ordered deep fried pickle chips, burger and fries, and catfish and fries. YUM!!

Food was good, but our waitress, Alma, was very slow and inattentive. I understand it was busier than usual, but it still impacted the experience. She didn’t bring utensils like scissors or shellfish crackers with the food, so it was cold by the time she brought them out. We also had to take our check to the front to pay since she didn’t stop by for about 10 minutes after dropping it off. During that time, our table was cleared and all of our leftovers — about half the meal — were thrown away.

The filthiest, loudest most disgusting restaurant I have ever had the misfortune of entering!!! The food was ‘slop’ not fit for hogs. The walls, floors and tabletops are breeding grounds for roaches. My fried catfish was raw in the middle and burnt to a crisp on the outside. Every five minutes some obnoxious waiter screamed out ‘Happy Birthday!!!’ as the entire staff and most guests matched the ear splitting sound accompanied by an in-house SIREN!!! Avoid this low class dump at all costs!!!

Really phenomenal customer service. I ordered some seafood boils to go for dinner and the man who helped me offered paper for my boils like they have at the restaurant as well as gloves and bibs. What I appreciated so much was he offered to watch me walk out to my car safely since it was just me and the area can be a little sketchy especially at night. Really appreciated it as I’ve had bad experiences on this side of town before and it was just a very considerate thing to do. Thank you!

Had an AMAZING time for my birthday here. Alma was our server and was the kindest most attentive waitress you could ask for. On top of that, the manager Cesar was fantastic. He came to check on us, brought me extras for my birthday, and sang along for the birthday song. Thank you all for the wonderful birthday dinner! ❤️❤️❤️

Omgsh! First time here and So impressed with everything. I didn’t know what to expect at first, and the menu was looking delectable and delish, I didn’t know what to order and decided that being a ‘fish place’ that having catfish on the menu must be a really good catfish! Andit was amazing! Omg it was So delicate and tender! The hush puppies are on point and the red beans and rice was super authentic I felt transported to Louisiana for a second. And our server Alma who is bartender also is superior quality restaurant people!!

I have been to this location twice in the past month, the service, the staff and the food is just something you can’t beat! Summer was my server and her vibe and personality made the meal, not to mention the manager Caesar, not only did he come to check on me but he actually was engaging with the other staff. Whoever the chef is deserves a raise also, the food is so freaking bomb! This is now my favorite spot in Tucson and I will continue to come back! 10/10 all around
