We knew that by opening a bánh mì shop, we had a large responsibility ahead of us. Could we provide both authentic flavors and experiences, as well as introduce new complex profiles into our foods to integrate cultural and regional influences- just like the Vietnamese people did with the French baguette? Here at Bánh Mì Ơi, we let that thought marinate a little and we dived right into that challenge. By using Mom’s recipes from her bánh mì cart in Saigon, we were able to create an authentic experience, half a world away. Our mission is to provide our customers quite possibly the freshest fast food they’ll find in Boston, without sacrificing the complexity they should expect from Vietnamese cuisine. Small but mighty Vietnamese cafe. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the bbq pork banh mi. It was very yummy and authentic. You can tell the bread and all of the ingredients are fresh. 10/10 would return.

Was my first time trying this, or so I ‘d hope. Have heard great things from other people that have ordered from here.
Ordered through doordash…went through 2 delivery drivers before I was aware of an issue with the order. They had run out of certain ingredients to make items in my order. I’ve been waiting at this point for almost an hour for my “order to be prepared” before I was aware of any issues with my order.
I was only aware of an issue due to communicating with my delivery driver who was patiently waiting there. Poor communication to its customers that utilize delivery apps on a weekend evening.

First time ordering, i love the presentation and the taste. I find the quality and the quantity pretty fair for the price. I try the Pho-Chicken and “The Happy -Mango Passionfruit” drink. Pretty tasty. Can’t wait to try other things in their menu.

I was sooo excited to finally try this place. I am a fan of bahn mi’s so to have a place so close was excellent. The gentleman working the counter was super nice and the food came out quickly. I ordered a lemongrass beef with the crispy springrolls and two drink. My sandwich was just ok…. didn’t really have much flavor. The spring rolls were fantastic and our drinks extremely fresh and tasty. Even though the sandwich didn’t give me everything I was hoping for I am willing to try again.

The first time I ordered food here, there was a long hair in my fresh rolls. Gross. I waited several years, and decided last week to try again. I went and picked up my order. When I got home, I realized they forgot 1 of the 2 things I ordered! I called. They said the “remembered” putting it in the bag (so basically calling me a liar). I demanded a refund for the item, which they said they would give me, but never did. AVOID this place! Get your food somewhere that’s cleaner, more responsible and cares about their customers.

I would not go back for pho it was the worst I ever had with strange overcooked veggies and broth that was not tasty. I would try the banh mi and fresh rolls if I found myself in the neighborhood. The iced coffee was good
