The coffee and tea options pair wonderfully with the pastries, and the presentation always feels special. The staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The store is clean, bright, and welcoming, perfect for a quick coffee break or a relaxed chat with friends.
Whether you’re picking up a loaf of bread, treating yourself to a slice of cake, or enjoying a sandwich and latte, Paris Baguette offers a taste of elegance in every bite. Highly recommend!
I ordered a birthday cake online one day in advance and followed the website instruction exactly: “Please include your message in the special instructions box below. If left empty, the plaque will be blank.” I left a clear birthday message with name and paid an extra $2.49 for the optional chocolate plaque.
When I went to pick up the cake, the staff member could not even find my order. She ran back and forth to the back kitchen refrigerators multiple times, searching in circles. I had to show her my order number before she finally checked her screen and tried again.
After I picked out some pastries and returned to the counter, she still looked visibly panicked and disorganized. Eventually, she brought out a cake. I reminded her that I had requested customized wording and repeated the name and birthday message. She rushed off again to “fix” it and came back with the cake.
At home, I opened the box and found no custom message at all. The cake only had the default white chocolate logo plaque and a thin generic “Happy Birthday” piece, which is clearly not what the website describes as customizable. There was no message on the cake board either.
I have been coming to this location for years because it is closest to my home, which made this experience even more disappointing. It was obvious the staff did not know where the cake was, what the order required, or how the chocolate plaque option works.
If ordering in advance, leaving detailed instructions, and paying extra still results in this, what is the point? By the end, the whole experience honestly felt like I had paid extra money and wasted my time for a service that did not exist.
The cake itself was fine. The service and order handling were not.
The restaurant is very clean. A wide variety of pastry, sandwiches and coffee were available.
There is beautiful sitting area. The place is very pleasant. The type of place you can enjoy with a long time friend. I highly recommend this place. I hope you are not on a diet.
Sad to say, I normally enjoy items from this location, but today was not it.
Hands down, this is the most spacious and airy bakery cafe (or “branche”) I have ever visited in the U.S. It’s an absolute pleasure to spend time here, and it has become our go-to spot.
The Positives:
· Ample Space: The amount of room here is incredible. You never feel crowded, even when it’s busy. It’s perfect for large groups, families, or just spreading out with a laptop.
· Impeccably Clean: The dining area and display cases are always spotless, which makes the entire experience so much more enjoyable.
· Huge Selection: The variety is outstanding. From fresh bread and perfect pastries to beautiful cakes and delicious sandwiches, there’s something for everyone, and the quality is consistently top-notch.
The One Big Negative:
There is one glaring design flaw that really sticks out in such a well-thought-out space.THE FAUCET IN THE RESTROOM SINK IS INSTALLED WAY TOO CLOSE TO THE BACK WALL. This means that when you wash your hands, the water hits the wall and splashes all over the countertop instead of flowing directly down the drain. It creates a constant mess and puddles of water, which is frustrating and contradicts the otherwise clean and tidy environment.
Despite this one annoying issue, the Paris Baquette in Yonkers remains a fantastic place. I highly recommend it for the food and atmosphere, but I really hope the management sees this and can fix the sink situation
