Had dinner with my son and daughter in law last night at Francisco’s. Beautiful building inside and out. Nice atmosphere. Great service. The food was great. We had Cilantro Lime Grilled Chicken, Chicken Alfredo and Fried Shrimp.
Good size parking lot across the street with crosswalks next to the Guadalupe River and along the street.

Francisco’s is a cute restaurant that serves mostly Mexican food. We ordered the fish tacos, the special of the chalupa with chicken (forgot the name), a couple of kids meals which were all tasty. We did think the tortilla soup was much better than the chicken posole. The Mexican martini was ok too, but very strong, lacked Olive juice and I didn’t don’t get the shaker with leftover drink to refill my glass. This is something I’ve always received as part of my Mexican martini order. The regular margarita was good. Flan for dessert was good too and had a nice orange vanilla flavor. As for the restaurant it was nice, clean and had a simple layout with paintings on the wall. The service was the best part of our experience. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful and made sure we were taken care of. Overall food was ok, the layout was really good, the place was clean and the service was great. Great location too!

This was a wonderful lunch stop in downtown Kerrville. The food was delicious, and the menu offers a great, traditional selection of regional Mexican cuisine. The staff are wonderful, and interior is decorated with a beautifully curated selection of art. Food arrives to the table quickly, and the atmosphere is great for small tables or small groups to enjoy a meal together.

I love this place!! Sat outside and had lunch! 13.95 for salad and a half of sandwich with fresh pumpernickel bread and a slice of watermelon! Beautiful old building and flowers outside with garden tables!

The food was to die for. It was a perfect balance of flavors. But the food wasnt the best part. The gentlemen who took care of us (victor) was knowledgeable, charming and most of all a gentlemen.

10/10 would recommend eating here.

We went to the Korean BBQ place next door but they were closed and we were hungry.
We had the specials as we were told that is what Francisco’s was known for instead of ordering off menu…
We started with chips and salsa..the chips were a bit burned and the salsa tasted like can tomatoes with a dash of cilantro.
We had the Chalupa Veracruz (a chalupa with spicy chilled chicken salad on top) and the Fish Tacos (fried tilapia with cabbage and yogurt dressing).
The chalupa sounded much better than what was served…it was literally just a scoop of chicken salad on a hard tostada and it was not very flavorful.
The fish was dry and over fried, the cabbage and yogurt sauce did little to add to the flavor.
Both were served with tortilla soup that was very greasy (you could see the grease beading up on the side of the cup) and tasted like can mix veggies with soggy chips .
Our bill was almost $60, which was quite a bit for the portion size and lack of flavor.
On a positive note, our server Cory was amazing and anticipated what we would want before we even asked! He brought jalepenos and extra plates and salsa without us saying anything! He was absolutely the best part of the meal and deserves 5 stars just for him!

We’re having a Water Street Festival in Kerrville today. Our friend, Corey Weaver, is singing at Francisco’s, so we went by to eat and listen. Our group ordered and after a little while they brought our food. I had ordered pumpkin soup. There was a small wedge of watermelon that I picked up to eat first. Two bites and there on the watermelon was a long hair curled up. I don’t know about you but that’s an appetite killer for me. I quietly got up and walked inside to the waitress station. I was not making a scene I just quietly told her. She looked at me and took the watermelon and threw it in the trash….never said a word. I turned and left..back to my table. I talked to our waitress and a waiter…they apologized and I told them I didn’t want the pumpkin soup.
Nope we won’t be eating here again!

Really good food and a nice, quiet place to sit and have some really good quality food. I had the fish taco with the pozoles Verdes. At first glance, I was certain I was gonna need seconds. The portions just looked too small and seemed like they were just going to leave me wanting more. Big mistake. I ate everything and it was really one of the best meals I ever had. Everything was fresh, or at least seemed to be and when I was done, I couldn’t eat another bite. Wait staff is very friendly and they even have tables outside for those who enjoy people watching. I will definitely be back and can’t wait to do so!

This is our first time here at Francisco Restaurant, and was happy to find open seating outside in their umbrella covered patios. We placed an order for Telapia fish tactos, Veracruzana chicken chalupa and a cup of pozole soup, and for desert a bread chocolate pudding, all was delicious. The staff are pleasent and helpful in recommending patrons’ favorites. Highly recommend Francisc’s Restaurant for all visitors passing by.
