Not bad, but not great either! They don’t have ground beef or shredded chicken. I wanted to order chicken taquitos but they only had shredded beef. Same with tostadas and taco salad. I ordered shredded beef taquitos and a shredded beef crunchy taco. When they arrived the taquitos looked greasy, sitting on a bed of lettuce , guacamole on the side, no shredded cheese or sour cream on top. The taco was just the beef, lettuce, and tomatoes very plain. Apparently if you want shredded cheese you need to ask for it and pay extra. I totally wouldn’t have minded that but I’ve never been to a Mexican restaurant that doesn’t add cheese on top. I ended up going back to the counter and ordering a veggie burrito. The burrito was really good.
We ordered beans and chips for the table to share while waiting for food to come out but the beans were bland, basic pinto beans. Might have been a little better with some queso fresco on top. My spouse ordered a shrimp fajita burrito that tasted good and my son ordered nachos and he loved them!
As far as ambience/atmosphere it was not very comfortable. The tables were a little wobbly and the chairs were hard. The restaurant itself didn’t seem very clean. No decorations, just a few half alive plants sitting next to the front window. The restaurant had black mold growing up the wall. I turned around and left without using the bathroom.
I would not recommend El Burrito Mojado based off my visit.

Came in on a quiet morning, the bacon breakfast burrito was super hot and so good. The hot salsa is actually hot but the verde was my favorite. Will definitely be back to try the lunch and dinner plates.

Was on business trip to Portland from the East Coast, and drove to Vancouver for an afternoon. Fortunately, I found this excellent spot about a 2 minute drive from the downtown chaos. This restaurant is on a quiet street with plenty of free parking on the street and in their lot. Phenomenally friendly and welcoming staff. The food was absolutely delicious as were their homemade hot sauces. (Food was so good I went up for 3 more tacos!). Fresh ingredients, authentic with a large varied menu and reasonably priced. Perfect casual spot. My only regret was that I didn’t have time to eat here again – well I tried to but they are closed in Sundays. When back in the area it’s a definite lunch stop!! Highly recommended.

Lots of seating! Very authentic, very kind workers and very affordable! There’s plenty of options, they even have vegetarian options! The food was very filling, the burritos are very large, I definitely recommend the chorizo burrito! The food came out in like 10 minutes! If your downtown looking for a quick bite or an affordable one, this place is for you!

Really cool space! We loved the bridge over the kitchen area. We got an asada burrito, asada tacos, and chicken tacos. Everything was good, but a bit too salty for us. We also got chips and salsa. Chips were an excellent size, but the salsa lacked flavor. Very reasonably priced, overall!

Never heard of this place before I randomly drove by it. The tacos were fantastic definitely worth the money and me coming back 5/5. The burritos we goood not great but definitely not bad. They grew on my as I ate them. Definitely worth a try, I’d definitely like to try a different burrito next time. The inside of this restaurant is extremely lacking. Tons of space not used feels empty. Doesn’t feel like a restaurant and definitely not a Mexican restaurant. But all and all a good enough restaurant worthy of a try!

Food is tasty, the inside of the restaurant is like the outside kinda reverse courtyard theme . Nice and clean plenty of parking especially since I went there at noon. Prices are average going rate . I was telling my son back in the day we used to rate a Mexican restaurant on its prices ! Times sure have changed in 10 years , breakfast burritos were $5 and under !

Stopped by here today for the first time, and oh my god!! It’s so tasty!! I got the chili relleno burrito and my partner the steak quesadilla, absolutely delicious.
Will definitely be stopping here again in the future !
