This is absolutely a place to avoid. Our family had one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had. We arrived around 2 p.m. to an empty restaurant. We waited at the door for about 1–2 minutes with no greeting, and we almost left—which, in hindsight, we should have. Eventually a woman came out from the kitchen (possibly the owner) and seated us.

All four of us ordered individual dishes, and unfortunately every dish was extremely disappointing. I am Asian and have eaten a wide range of cuisines for over 30 years, so I have certain expectations for taste and quality. Nothing we received met even a basic standard. The chicken fried rice tasted as if it was made with old rice—both the smell and texture were off, and it lacked any of the freshness or wok flavor you would expect. One of the dishes was a curry, and it was equally unappetizing.

I was honestly surprised to see positive reviews online, as our experience did not reflect that at all. It has been a few months since our visit, but I still feel strongly that others should be aware before choosing to dine here. I give 2 stars for the atmosphere for the vine plants that goes around the perimeter. Save yourself money and time.

Pretty much the best Thai and Vietnamese foods in the Columbia area. They always impress me with the quality of their food. This is a family-owned business and they are very gracious and accommodating and make great food. I always try and visit them when I am in the area as I used to eat there at least three times a week when I was employed. But now I’m retired and have moved from the area. Their Vietnamese egg rolls are outstanding. I have yet to find any that surpassed them.

Very good restaurant hidden in a small shopping center in Cayce. Aren’t the best Thai restaurants in places like this. I’m glad I tried it. Wonderful. I had the Pad Kee Mao with Chicken (Thai Hot) and Vietnamese Eggrolls, and Hot and Sour Soup. All fantastic. The noodles were thin rice noodles. I’m used to thick rice noodles for this dish, but it was still great. The Vietnamese eggrolls were amazing. Thin rice noodles with Chicken. Strong recommendation from me.

The wontons were hollow, but the spring rolls and house sauce touched my soul. The peanut chicken and Thai fried rice is amazing as well as the pepper steak I snuck off Bo plate…the teriyaki chicken sticks are juicy and full of flavor….prices excellent as well. Even though we were the only ones here, there was a little wait but that’s OK when your food comes out fresh and amazing

I’m quite baffled by the positive reviews here. This was easily the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. My Pad Woon Sen was just a small dollop of grossly overcooked noodles swimming in some kind of broth-like substance. The noodles were just mush because they were so macerated, and there were barely any there for $10.

The pineapple fried rice was equally terrible. It had two chunks of pineapple, and it was seasoned like cheap Chinese takeout rice instead of with the blend of curry powder and a light sauce that is common with pineapple fried rice.

The fried spring rolls were equally terrible with nothing but pork and cabbage inside. They were also burnt until blackened on the outside.

The world is my Oyster. I crave authentic ethnic cuisine. But I’ve been spoiled with the elevated diversity of San Diego. All of a sudden I missed Vietnam and the fresh spring rolls and dipping sauce like the ones of the Clairmont area. Golden Chopsticks came close. Then I realized…it missed that punch of International flavor of the mint. I didn’t realize how much it added to this dish. Well as a chef I came home and created what I was missing just to satisfy those cravings. My lunch partner enjoyed his pork noodles. The decor was amazing but I would switch out We are the Champions to some take me away Thai music @

This place has always been a go to. Been coming here for my birthday since I was a kid. The food is so fresh, and delicious obviously. A lovely family runs the restaurant & the small grocery store next door. You can’t go wrong here. Personal favs: the bun, the curry, the tom kha kai soup (get a large & split it as an app!), the Spring Rolls.
(The amount of food you get for the price is great too)

One of the sweet women who works here also has celiac and made sure that my food was made to accommodate my allergy. She was very friendly and helped me make sure my food (which was delicious) was prepared gluten free.

The BBQ chicken satay was a little dry but good. The fresh vegetable roll was good especially with the sauce. The chicken fried rice was a little bland and dry as well. The Vietnamese bun was excellent.
