I’m starting to like this place a bit in particular for their menu which is a fusion of Chicago style/Greek & Italian fare.
Clean & spacious eatery boasts some good eats at reasonable prices and very friendly service. Earlier this February was our 2nd time dining here and man was it packed.
I’m glad to see a local business attracting plenty of customers and surviving the economy. I always try my best to support local.
We just got done roaming around Northbrook Court prior to dining here. We live pretty far north in Lake Co so time will tell when the next time we’ll be in town but Grill House is definitely another hit on my go-to list.

Surprisingly this was our first time here and it was a nice time. The food was hot and delicious and everyone enjoyed their meal. We had a smash burger, filet skewers and a beef. Pretty good size portions for the price point.
Nice layout and good service so we will definitely give it another try in the near future.

The food could be great if they would just cook it. I ordered a Shrimp souvlaki & they did not cook it all the way and I was violently sick for 2 days. I thought it was just a fluke, 2 weeks later, I ordered a Bifteki which is lamb & ground beef & it was raw meat on the inside & I would not dare touch it out of fear of an ER visit. I checked other reviews on here & it seems to be a lot of complaints about undercooked food so this is a pattern & that is bad. They are trying to kill people with undercooked meals. The manager was gracious and not only refunded my money but gave me a credit towards another meal but I am just too scared to go back. It’s too bad because otherwise it’s a nice place with great choices. Cooks need retraining.

Today, my family and I decided to visit this place on Saturday, February 21, 2026, with high hopes of having a great time. However, our experience took a turn for the worse when we approached the front desk to place an order.
The staff member at the front desk greeted us with a dismissive attitude and informed us that they only serve American food. He gave us a strange look, as if we were somehow out of place because of our Indian heritage and different skin color. It was a blatant display of racism and discrimination.
The staff member’s sole responsibility was to take our order, but he chose to make us feel unsafe and unwelcome. His unprofessional behavior made my children and family uncomfortable and left us feeling violated.
This incident was a stark contrast to my previous experiences at other places where I have always been warmly welcomed and treated with respect. It is unacceptable that this kind of behavior is tolerated in any establishment.
I strongly advise anyone considering visiting this place to reconsider. The staff’s racist and unprofessional treatment is simply unacceptable. I will never recommend this place to anyone and will never return.

Best lunch specials around. The smash burger is delicious and fairly priced. It’s a good sized burger and they give you a big bag of fries. I eat here at least once a week for lunch and it always hits the spot.

Came here for dinner and had a decent experience! The food was good and so was the service. I had the southwest burger (Basket) with waffle fries it was delicious. My boyfriend had ribs with garlic bread, waffle fries, and lentil soup. I must say, if I’m ever in that area I will stop at Grill House for a whole slab of ribs. My boyfriend shared his ribs with me and… It was Amazingly delicious. 9.5/10 The service was fast and friendly. Check the place out, you won’t regret it.

While doing my usual rounds of my daily routine, I found myself having a little free time. So, I decided to get something to eat. I’ve always seen this location. It may be that when I’m driving by its too early, and that’s why they seem dead. After walking in and confirming that they were open and ready for business, I was thrown back to see how spacious, clean, and very nice the inside of the restaurant looked. I order chicken tenders, Italian beef, and curly fries. I was shocked to see the size of these chicken tenders. I asked for the beef to be hot and dipped. They provided me with the hot peppers and 2 containers with the juice to dip my beef in. WOW!!!!!!! I LOVED IT. It just sad that I live so far south. So I may just move to Northbrook just to be close to this spot. Very friend, great food, and decent prices.

I was in the area, and right off the bat, we had a strong start with their Saganaki Cheese Curds. This is the most Greek Midwestern thing I’ve seen. And they were also good and had a nice panko crust on them. They also do customized orders so I had the Bifteki with Halloumi Cheese & Pita. The bifteki were hearty and everything went well with the lemon and herbs, no surprise here. Also, the only thing that I tried with no Greek influence was the Kale Caesar Wrap, the ratios were good with chicken being in abundance. The Chicken Souvlaki was also good, but I’m definitely rocking with their half chicken which is wonderfully prepared, and glistened with all of the marinade was fantastic. The oregano, the olive oil, the lemon I mean everything was done right for this dish. I also liked their Avgolimone soup, silky, fragrant, and tasty. For dessert, they had this enormous house-made Baklava Cheesecake. Nice crust, and a dense cheesecake that I think is good enough to share. Overall, very good place in the Northern Suburbs.
