Felt very welcomed by the server despite coming in late with no reservation. There were plenty of vegetarian options to choose from and I was delighted with my choice, as Paris can be tricky. The dish my partner ordered was unavailable but the server kindly made suggestions of dishes he enjoyed. She was very happy with the beef dish she received as it would never have been something she’d have chosen herself.
Definitely somewhere to come if you are in the area. Affordable prices when you compare to Paris in general where prices can be obscene.

If you are looking for amazing Vietnamese food in Paris, definitely try this place. It’s a small, authentic family-own restaurant, located in the 5th arrondissement. So glad that my husband and I found this place. Besides great food, their customer service is excellent. The first time we went there, my husband got the shaking beef dish and I got their special rice place, which I totally recommend both. It’s so good that we came the second time before we left Paris, again it didn’t disappoint. Next time we come back to Paris, we’ll definitely visit it again.

I make and eat a lot of Asian food of all kinds and I am familiar with what is necessary to prepare a successful dish. One person at my table had the chicken curry which was okay but like others have said, was sweet, when it should have been savoury. It was finished with a few carrot slices. Another person had the beef pho. It was also sweet as if it was made from a MSG laden sugar powder, not simmered beef bones. There were a few rice noodles at the bottom when there should have been a generous handful. The beef was grey, tough and tasteless. There were no fresh condiments and sauces provided as if the chef had no knowledge or pride. Same conclusions for my caramel pork dish which left me questioning everything about it. Desiccated fragments of pork boiled in too much caramel and soy sauce. It should have been a sticky sweet carrier for all the other flavours not a watery sugar soup. The worst part of the evening was the sticky rice. A pancake of rice steamed and stuck inside a plastic bag. The slab was as hard as a brick as if the chef forgot about it for a half hour or perhaps even worse, reheated it over and over again. It was truly inexplicable. We showed the rice to the host and he said that was what sticky rice should be — to me and two others born in Beijing. How could he lie to us like that ? The 3.50 EUR rice was removed from the bill; however, I really wanted to see the chef come out and try biting into the slab. Where is the pride in the food? Where is any semblance of knowing what Vietnamese flavours should be? It really boils down to care and none of it was present at the restaurant. It was the worst experience I have had as long as I can remember in any city. I wish I could understand the high ratings how they are justified. The portions are also very small and it is exorbitant to charge 2 EUR extra for a mouthful of rice. Perhaps the restaurant has changed ownership since the first reviews but I would urge anyone who knows what Asian cuisine is to avoid this restaurant.

Very nice! Stumbled into here while walking Rue Mouffetard, in part to escape the heavy rain. The food was very good, and the service matched: they modified a meal for my vegetarian wife. Egg rolls were very tasty, as was the salt and pepper prawns. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Great Vietnamese restaurant and very vegetarian-friendly! They offer quite a few vegetarian options while still preserving the authentic flavors of Vietnamese cuisine, comforting and delicious! Excellent service, the owner is kind, and the prices are very reasonable for a restaurant in the 5th arrondissement. A must visit!
