Ordered Togo food for myself. A ribeye steak, baked potato and salad. The potato was cold, the steak was over seasoned and tough. I don’t know how they managed to undercook the outer part of the steak and the inside was as it should be. Salad was good but that’s hard to mess up. This isn’t the first time I have been there and the steaks are hit and miss… honestly for what I paid and the quality of food I got I wish I had just gotten fast food.
Edit: honestly the more I ate of this steak bc I wasn’t wasting it for the amount of money I paid the grosser it got. The pictures don’t do it justice for the odd coloring of the meat.

Delicious food, great atmosphere and excellent service. They checked all the boxes. The crescent rolls and the shrimp tacos were especially note worthy. The shrimp tacos were my reason for going back and they will make me go back again.

Five stars allllllllllll the way, From the moment we came to the door, Katina, Was exceptionally kind and warmly welcoming, Nile at the door was super, she took us to a nice booth, and offered some great suggestions, including Her love of the croissants. Glad they came with the salad and she was right, Super delish!!!! Now the very best part of the experience, NORM!!!! He is a rockstar!!!! I have had my food served at the top of the world so to speak well just say and let me tell you, He is World Class, truly deserving of every kind thing you could think to say about a server, and He was right about every single thing the way every single thing would come out and the Food runner Morgan even Was so kind and Wished us a very merry Christmas she was fabulous, The manager Courtney even kindly stopped by for a great chat, I think we’ll be back, But If I’m being Honest, This Meal, Everything about it on Christmas Night was so Picture perfect, But the steak made for a pretty underwhelming experience, I’ll be nice and just say it ended up for the dogs, Because It was way underdone, Bloody red and cold, I snuck a picture of it When we came home but my husband wouldn’t let me send it back and Even wanted to cook it more before even feeding it to the pups, I hate to say it, I really do, I never like to lower the temperature of conversation Because for such a dazzling evening, such super spectacular service, and every single other thing otherwise being so perfect, The steak was just so in need of love, and To be cooked, He ordered Medium, but it was really rare, cold rare, and Honestly, if they’re a problem Cook with an internal probe thermometer they’re the best investment, That way you can guarantee the doneness, That’s my only suggestion, But I would Like to offer Another moment of praise for Norm, He was so worthy of being continually promoted, I Hope the owners applaud each and every great, hard working person I’ve mentioned Here, lets them know they’re appreciated, they gave up a portion of their holiday with their loved ones to come serve A hungry audience, We applauded each of them, we want to come back, We just know what to order and what not to order, we’ll ask for Norm again, and the whole bit, I really, really hope you reward each of these hard working, Super dedicated individuals with such appreciation, rewarding careers, and the applause they deserve, Thank You, it’s a shame about the steak, but the rest was pure wonder!!!! I’ll still give you all five stars because I said I would, but the steaks are with reservation, so you’ve got to know where you can learn and become better if there is any place, Your service was Phenomenal, 90% of the food was too, and all the people I mentioned, wow, This review would’ve even been even more glowing, if it weren’t for that steak, it’s a shame to see all their brilliance Held back by a kitchen that should’ve known That piece of meat wasn’t cooked enough, And If I would totally recommend this place, Its because of the people, I’d tell everyone they had to Meet Norm, and Morgan was the best food runner just like Nile at the Hostess station, all the best most brilliant ever, It’s such a shame about the steak, and honestly if they come back often, I wouldn’t even offer them, save yourself the feedback, Thank You all so much Especially….

Long time customer…very sad they lost the MB location a few years back. This is the Surfside location and it’s as I remember California Dreaming to be. Not a formal dining experience but very nice environment with similar upper $$$ price point. Honestly, we’ve always loved CD for their chicken tenders and similarly for this experience, I can really only speak to those here. If you’ve never ate CD chicken tenders, your life can not be identified as satisfied. YOU CAN NOT GO THROUGH LIFE WITHOUT TRYING THESE TENDERS!!! Light beer batter breading with the most amazing honey mustard type dip you can imagine. Also, new partner location (Carolina Roadhouse). Have not been there but I can imagine the experience there would be similar to the Surfside CD location. Thanks for viewing.

This restaurant has a very inviting atmosphere! It’s cozy but so open, the location would be great for a work event, date night, or brunch! I got the roasted salmon salad with the Bicycle theif, and he got a Cali Bowl with Tuna and a Mojito.
The roasted salmon salad was so delicious, roasted to perfection crispy and flavorful on the outside, all of the veggies were fresh and crisp and the balsamic vinaigrette paired excellent with the dish. I was too focused on my salad to try any of the Kalle bowl however he said it was fantastic as well so that might be something that I try the next time I come back.
The handcrafted cocktails here are very strong. If I had more to eat before I came I definitely would’ve finished the bicycle thief however our server noticed I wasn’t drinking it as much and brought me a new drink that I did like a lot better which was the Cali Crush. Nice pineapple notes and is a nice change from the classic frozen margarita.
I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family not only due to the service. However, the presentation of the dishes and the quality can’t be beat.

I haven’t been in a long time and things have changed since then. Let me say first my waiter couldn’t tell me much about the menu but she was nice. It was too dark I could barely see my food. Being it was Valentines I expected the crowd but would think the quality of food would still be ok. My drink had a strange smell so strong I couldn’t drink it. I ordered the flounder and shrimp. The piece of flounder so small i thought the forgot to give it to me. It wasn’t worth the price at all. Atleast the salad and corrisant stayed consistent

Nice restaurant. Very big with a lot of seats. We had great service from our waiter, a young man who knew a lot about the menu. He was great. The food was ok, though the ambiance was cool. Nice palm tree centered in the restaurant, with a Coastal, Southern Charm. We came in between lunch and dinner, and there wasn’t many people there (but that’s just the time we arrived). Will come back during peak hours when it’s more busy. Overall, this is a cool place. I liked their salad, it had a honey mustard type of dressing and was quite tasty. I recommend this restaurant, it’s worth checking out.
