Reviews
The Laundry was an unexpected and delightful treat for a holiday lunch. It came highly recommended for its diverse menu and gluten‑free options, and it absolutely lived up to the praise. Our waitress was fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful when we had questions about different menu items.
I ordered the #62 Piggy Bank, which features slow‑cooked pulled pork, a unique rum raisin BBQ sauce, coleslaw, cheddar cheese, and a house‑made pickle slice on an onion roll. The sandwich was packed with meat and had just the right amount of sauce. The flavor was outstanding—like something straight from a pitmaster’s BBQ joint. It came with a dill pickle and salt‑and‑vinegar kettle chips, which paired perfectly.
For dessert, I tried the holiday eggnog sweet bread, and it was an incredible seasonal treat. I also enjoyed the eggnog espresso, which was warm, comforting, and full of holiday flavor.
Everyone at our table ordered something different, and the entire group went quiet while eating—a sure sign that the food was excellent. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. A wonderful experience all around!
The food was fantastic, drinks were good, and not a single complaint about the service. All the food is made to order and locally sourced ingredients. You can tell! This makes all the difference in the food.
Starter: Artie Dip: this was better than I expected. This is the first time I’ve had Gorgonzola cheese and Brie and actually enjoyed it. The French baguettes it’s served with are also great. Would recommend.
Main:
Iberian Pork: 5/5 glazed carrots, slickly smooth potatoes and perfectly cooked pork. There is nothing wrong with this dish at all.
Wild Mushroom Carbonara with Blackened Chicken: 4/5 this was a good meal. The flavors of the carbonara were spot on. And the blacked chicken was cooked beyond perfectly. I only wish the fresh pasta was made thinner. This made the texture not what I wanted it to be. But it was a really good dish.
Dessert: cake of the day: Chocolate cake with cinnamon vanilla ice cream. 4/5 This was a well made cake and the ice cream was good. It had alot of cinnamon. It gave me chewing Big Red gum vibes.
Drinks:
Baklava Cold Brew: 5/5 boyfriend and I loved this. We wish we lived closer to get it more often.
Ode to India Chai: 4/5 very good chai.
Peach Princess: 3/5 it was tasty. I think next time I will ask for more ginger ale in it.
What stood out the most was the excellent service. We walked in without a reservation and were seated in an under an hour (for reference, other spots in the area had 3+ hour wait times of were completely booked up!) The service was excellent! Despite being very busy, staff members were still attentive and kind. Our waiter was awesome as well.
The food was delicious. Entrées were high-quality and well-portioned; the dessert was the highlight of our meal.
Our experience was so lovely here and we will definitely be back the next time we’re in town!
