They season their burgers better than anyone. Full stop. Whatever age that griddle is, the flavor it gives is completely unmatched.
Not a smashburger. Not a pub burger. Just the best burger.
The area, the vibe, the owners — it all works. Always has.
If you know, you know.

However, I like the original bodega set up that they have with a small amount of considered grocery and a small lunch style menu, quick sandwich, quick hotdog is a nice variation for this street. The cashier lady was very nice and knowledgeable of the stores history and the owner was there as well and was extremely nice. We loved the photos and story that they told all around the shop. Good feel inside and outside. The snickerdoodle cookie was tasty but a bit too soft/doughy. The brownie was delicious. If we weren’t already going to the restaurant up the street I would have tried other things as the photos and reviews are high here. Very easy to stop in and grab something quick. I’d come back to try their burgers for sure. We always park on the street near this place and walk by it and didn’t quite know what it was with all the stickers on the front but we are glad we checked Google and went inside as we’ll probably stop back by when in the area.
At Little’s, the burger stands out for its simplicity and traditional flair, evoking a retro charm that is both nostalgic and satisfying. While it may not be the best burger I’ve ever encountered, it is certainly a worthy choice for those in need of a reliable burger fix.
The interior of Little’s is intimate, with limited seating that enhances its cozy appeal. The small space ensures a quieter dining experience, devoid of overcrowded hustle and bustle. The service exemplifies Southern hospitality, with staff warmly greeting guests upon arrival and bidding them farewell upon departure.
Parking in Cabbagetown can be challenging, so those unfamiliar with parallel parking might prefer to opt for a ride-share service. After enjoying your meal, explore the neighborhood’s quaint bars and coffee shops. The community atmosphere is inviting, with locals often engaging in friendly conversations. Should you need assistance or recommendations, don’t hesitate to ask—residents are typically very welcoming and helpful.
If you have the time, Little’s Grocery Store is a gem worth discovering.
