We stopped by this spot in Oceanside and the ceviche was to die for as it was fresh, full of flavor, and definitely not skimpy on the shrimp. Easily one of the best I’ve had in a while.
The horchata was also beautifully presented, served in a large glass with cinnamon, star anise, and a cinnamon stick. You can tell they put care into the details.
Unfortunately, the Carne Asada, rice, and beans fell flat. They looked good but were lacking seasoning and depth of flavor. A little more seasoning or salt would go a long way toward matching the quality of everything else.
Overall, I’d still recommend giving it a try, def go for the ceviche and drinks, but maybe skip the Carne Asada until they turn up the flavor dial. They appeared to have a pretty robust menu, so I’m sure some of the other options might be better.
They have ample free parking in front of the restaurant, it’s small, but taken care of. The vibe was almost home like and I liked that.

OMG delicious and flavorful fish tacos. The batter was nicely seasoned and the grilled mahi mahi you can taste the fish and it wasn’t salty. Staff very attentive.

On my way back to LA from TJ craving some seafood looked on Google for help decided to check this place out, got a shrimp cocktail, 2 shrimp ceviche tostadas, and a chicken quesadilla, along with a Modelo Negra michelada. First the shrimp cocktail was decent, nothing special added tapatio and lemon to give it extra flair just ok with shrimp, very basic. Shrimp ceviche tostadas were meh, very basic nothing special, no seasoning had to add lemon, salt, and pepper to give it some real flavor, the chicken quesadilla was surprisingly the point thing that actually had flavor… good amount of chicken and cheese along with guacamole, sour cream, Pico de Gallo. The michelada was the worst I ever had idk if it was the beer or the mix they had but I had a hard time drinking it, it was not good at all even when adding lemon to it… nothing special at all with the food I had and definitely not with the michelada…. just ok

Best Torta in town!!! I get the adobada, and it never disappoints! Also the fish and shrimp taco plate. Do yourself and favor and come eat here. It’s my favorite Friday lunch spot!!

We ordered beef and nachos(shrimp allergy in the family), shrimp and fish tacos, and a plate of fish and chips. I asked for rice and beans with my tacos. The beans wore really good (como los de mi mama lol). All the food had a really good taste like real Mexican food, (echo en casa). I tried the spicy salsa (they had 3 types). Great customer service. I will definitely recommend it.

I’ve gotten 5 different burritos here including 3 breakfast burritos. They were all solid. Tasty and a good size. Service was fast and friendly. Salsas we’re good too.

This spot was such a good find. A mom and son operation! Got the surf and turf burrito California style. Such great flavor and the burrito was HUGE. My bf and I shared the burrito and I got a fish taco on the side. The tortilla on the taco wasn’t great but the fish was battered to perfection and the sauce on the fish was pretty great too! I can’t wait to go back.

First time visiting Oceanside and this place did not disappoint. The micheladas were great and the adobada tacos were authentic and delicious. Definitely recommend coming into this hole in the wall and the owners will not disappoint you!

We are regulars and love it! The carne asada is the best we’ve ever tried. It’s authentic and delicious. I cannot get over their bean and cheese burritos (simple but delicious) and my husband loves the fish tacos. A must try, great place to eat!!!
