We visited Donde Olga in Piñones, Puerto Rico during our honeymoon, and it was a special experience that allowed us to truly enjoy traditional Puerto Rican cuisine. The atmosphere is authentic, relaxed, and full of local flavor. The criollo food was delicious, and above all, nothing beats enjoying a cold Medalla while taking in the true Piñones vibe. The service was very friendly, and it’s definitely a recommended stop if you want to experience the real essence of Puerto Rico.

Great delicious food but customer service was horrible! Cashiers too busy gossiping than servicing orders. Not paying properly attention really damage the vibe, specially if you are out of town.

First off the food was great but the service was very slow. As a group of four we ordered 4 snapper meals it took an hour and a half to get our meals, so I guess don’t go if your in a rush. If not for the fact the food was delicious this location would have been a 3 in my books. Across the street of this location, there are a few tents selling there homemade dulcè de coco which has no ties to this organization but is definitely worth a try.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing! The fresh seafood is a highlight, with the red snapper being a must-try. It’s incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. The service here is outstanding; the staff is very nice and respectful, ensuring a delightful dining experience. Situated right by the beach, the location is perfect, surrounded by a plethora of other restaurants, yet this place stands out as a hidden gem. The ambiance is serene and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a memorable meal. This is, without a doubt, a must-go-to restaurant. It’s like discovering a hidden treasure with some of the best food I’ve ever had. Don’t miss out on this culinary delight!

On December 18, 2025, while visiting my native Puerto Rico, I was truly disappointed with this restaurant. We purchased bacalaitos (cod fritters) that were so hard, we threw them out. The alcapurrias were okay but not the best I have eaten in PR. While waiting for my food, the cook left an opened container of cooked ground meat. A bird flew into the opened container and ate some of the ground meat. She completely ignored the incident and kept cooking. I had to bring it to her attention. We tried to use the restrooms and they were dirty and disgusting that we had to run out. There were water bugs dead and alive all over the bathroom floors. The bathroom looked like they have not been cleaned in months. I hate the idea of writing this review but these people need to be accountable, if they are running a business.

Had heard a lot about this place from an old resident of the area but visiting it proved disappointing for the both of us. Food was just middling, service was non-existent and the atmosphere was not very great either.
