We started with drinks & everyone loved theirs. I really appreciate that they offer several mocktails for sober guests, I enjoyed mine a lot.
The food was amazing! We ordered the pretzel, calamari, vegetarian nachos, truffle fries & the truffle mushroom pizza. Everything was a 10/10. The pizza especially was a standout; my first time trying it at Yard House, & honestly one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Everything was fresh, flavorful & delicious.
I will definitely be coming back!
If you suffer from decision paralysis, consider this your warning: The beer list at Yard House isn’t a menu; it’s a novel.
I stopped by the St. Louis Park location, and the selection is borderline ridiculous. But here is the thing about massive venues with 100+ taps—usually, the service feels like an assembly line. You’re just a number waiting for a pint. That wasn’t the case here, entirely thanks to the bartender, Tyler.
This guy is the real deal. In the middle of the chaos, he was completely dialed in. He wasn’t just slinging drinks; he was actually curating the experience. He’s got that relaxed, “I’ve got this handled” energy that only comes from someone who genuinely cares about their craft and the people sitting in front of them. He made a massive, corporate-style space feel like a neighborhood spot where the staff actually knows what they’re doing.
The space itself is huge, so you aren’t fighting for elbow room, and the underground parking next door is a massive win. The menu is diverse enough to cover everyone’s picky dietary needs, complete with beer pairings if you’re feeling fancy.
The Verdict: The beer list is impressive, but the service is what actually sells it. Tyler is a legend. I just stopped for a drink, but I’ll definitely be back for dinner. 5/5 stars.

If you’ve never been to The Yard House at The Shops at West End in St. Louis Park, you’re seriously missing out. This place is not your typical chain restaurant or bar—it’s got a vibe all its own. Think great food, an impressive rotating list of craft beers, and a fun, laid-back atmosphere that just pulls you in.
I’ve been here plenty of times, and honestly, it just keeps getting better. The staff are super friendly and personable—I actually know a few of them by name now (yep, I’m officially a regular). The seating is awesome too. Indoors, it’s cozy but still open, and when the weather’s nice, their outdoor seating is a total win. Perfect for those long Minnesota summer evenings.
Now, let’s talk food—because oh boy, the food! My number one must-have every single time? The nachos.
I love, love, love their nachos! They’re huge—definitely meant to share with a couple of friends (or not, I won’t judge). Perfectly cheesy, piled high, and packed with flavor.
Then there’s the jambalaya—absolutely delicious. You don’t often find crawdaddies in your jambalaya around here, but Yard House nails it. The portion is massive (again, shareable), and you can get it with either linguine or spicy rice. I’m all about that spicy rice—it’s got just the right kick. It doesn’t overpower, but leaves this nice little zing that lingers.
Oh, and don’t skip the calamari! It comes with both tartar and red sauce, which is a nice touch. Perfect starter with a cold drink in hand.
Speaking of drinks, happy hour here is where it’s at. All the apps are half off, and they’ve got great deals on drinks too. I’ve tried both the spicy and regular margaritas—neither one was watered down (thank you, Yard House!). And if you’re a beer fan, do yourself a favor and grab the stout. It’s astounding.
So yeah, if you’re looking for a place that hits all the right notes—awesome food, chill vibes, and good people—Yard House at West End is it. You’ll probably catch me there at the bar or out on the patio when the weather’s nice, nachos in front of me and a stout in hand. Cheers!
