My sister was nice enough to grab me food from here when she stopped by there. I never been to Sam Woo so I looked at their menu online. The menu is almost like any other Asian restaurant, so they’ll have their noodle soup, bbq dish, fried noodles and more.
I saw that they had Mongolian beef here so I wanted to try that. Since I had rice at home, I asked for it to be la carte. I like the container they used for the beef because it has little holes so the steam won’t stay in the container and continue to cook the beef.
You get a good portion of beef and I thought it was delicious. The Mongolian beef was tender and marinated great. I would order it again from here. I been to the plaza where this restaurant is in before and parking can be difficult because of the market that is here.

I always come here for BBQ pork casiu, roast pork, and roast duck. They’re all the best.
We love the salt and pepper pork ribs, a bit crunchy and juicy at the same time.
The walnut shrimp is also recommended.

Food is really good and fast service. All the service staffs are courteous and proactive. They’ll even pack the left overs for you to go. Sodas are all canned (no fountain). The place is kind of old but they still manage to keep it clean and neat. You need to sign to queue (dont wait for someone to reserve your table). Overall this is our go-to for Chinese food cravings.

The fried rice here was awesome. The smokiness and wok flavor from every meal here was worth all the money spent here. I did not quite like the chow mein because of the texture but it was still tasty. The barbeque pork and duck was very delicious and quite cheap compared to the cost spent if I were to make one myself. Service was okay but the waiters were quite busy to attend to us a lot of times. Place was nice and clean but quite cramped and smells overwhelmingly of the barbeque.
