Don’t go to this place, a complete waste of time. I ordered an online delivery order from this particular store yesterday through the subway app and apparently my order was cancelled and they threw away my sandwich cause no one picked it up and I wasn’t told or anything about that. I come in today to ask them can they just make my sandwich cause they canceled it and everything and I payed through my gift card and this one dumb lady said “I have to talk through DoorDash for that. Why does that matter, you guys canceled my order and everything so I should get my sandwich still. A complete waste of time definitely with these people. If you order through the app, choose a different and better store than this one.

The woman working the counter tonight on Friday, February 21st 2020 at 8:40 PM was absolutely unpleasant to deal with. It doesn’t matter what mood you are in. When dealing with customers you should always at least try to be pleasant. She was very short with me and kept up an abrasive tone that made me want to get out faster. When asking for special instructions based on the order I was having, she questioned me and essentially told me “I have to put the meat on first or else it falls.” So I insisted. I got what I wanted but she made me very uncomfortable. Everything I said and seemed to bother her and I only wanted to grab a quick bite to eat. Please, if you’re the employer and you see this, take corrective action over this employee. She has negative customer service skills. Worse than zero.

I ordered salads online twice and both times they forgot to put in one ingredient. First time it was spinach or something so I didn’t complain or anything but second time it was guacamole. The salad was called turkey guacamole salad so it doesn’t make sense to forget guacamole. I contacted the customer service but they probably just used one of the apology templates saying that they will make sure this won’t happen again. But I’m like that’s not the point I emailed back saying it doesn’t make sense to pay $9 for a salad without guacamole which is called turkey guacamole salad and I also asked for a refund for guacamole but they never responded. Worst customer service ever.

Michelle ; the lady who worked there was unhappy and unwilling to serve , she didn’t even ask me if I want it toasted and when requested she gave me the face . She obviously doesn’t want to work there and it reflects to customers . I will try to avoid coming here ; poor management for not caring who they hire nor improving service . Go to Quiznos by Home Depot , superior quality and service there . Owner is on top of the store unlike this poorly managed place .

As an African American it is often difficult to rate or review any establishment public or private. It can be difficult due to systematic racism. It is often expressed in these establishments either directly or indirectly. It is what it is. It is the life that we live in this country.

One of the most common reactions to people of color is when you are clearly the next person in line, no black employees will look through you and ask who is next in line. The other is to be aloof to your presents, even as they are serving you.

Both of these things happen to me both times I visited this Subway location. This store is so small that there isn’t much room for customers to bunch up around each other. It is clear who is next in line, yet the employee was on her toes to look over my head to the next (non-black) customer in line. The next visit nothing was said as I walked in to an empty store. The employee was almost falling all over herself to not pay attention to our request as she prepared our sandwiches. Speaking to another employee and greeting a (non-black) customer as she entered the store.

I gave this store two stars because the food was okay and they were not directly insensitive. The first time the woman actually apologized when it was so sadly obvious what she had done.

Subway should not allow this type of customer service. Money is green. Black people’s money is just as green as anyone else’s. I have no intention of patronizing this location again.
