My neighbor introduced me to this restaurant and now I’m hooked. The food is good, authentic, addictive. Plus the staff/ servers are very warm, friendly and welcoming.

Really nice restaurant, but the younger lady who took my order wasn’t very pleasant. I ordered a large red pea soup and a small jerk chicken. The soup was really good, but the jerk chicken was horrible—zero jerk. Publix serves better jerk chicken than this place, real talk. And they don’t even cook plantains! What kind of Jamaican restaurant is this if you don’t serve plantains? To me, you shouldn’t have a Jamaican restaurant if you don’t serve plantains. That’s just my belief. Stevie Wonder could’ve made better jerk chicken.

Have been coming here for a very long time and we always send our hotel guest here. But today was crazy old lady was hanging in the back try to get the chef attention and nothing! After 6-7 min she finally comes out. In order my usual and tells me I can put curry goat gravy on my rice??? I pay for the steam veggies every time n pay extra for another fried chicken leg. So don’t tell me you can’t put that gravy??? She needs to retire or have our wonderful lady working on the weekends too

I hate to say it but it’s gone so far down hill. The jerk was never traditional but I bought it by the pound and not only was it expensive but just not good. Skin was very soggy. I had to put it in the air fryer. No smoke – that distinct pimento wood taste is missing and I get most restaurants just grill but I believe at snappers it’s just baked. $16 was ridiculous. The fried chicken in the case looked old and cold. What a travesty. Used to eat there so often. No festival… Mid afternoon and no fried dumplin at all…. #GentrifiedJerk

For $22 dollars I got a plate full of akee. It looked like she purposely avoided all the big pieces of fish to give me bottom scraping, and this was at 8:30 am . I’m not going back. Fish taste old, maybe that was why she didn’t give me much, dumplings undercooked. Best thing on the plate was the bananas.

It was just OK most likely won’t be back. Nothing was at temperature. The curry did have an ok flavor though. Won’t be back. Not worth the price, very delicious smell as you approach the restaurant though. This particular plate doesn’t taste like the smell but not bad, rather spend my money where I know it’s good, and extra if you want cabbage as a side.

My family and I love trying new flavors from different places, so we decided to try this little place called: which is located on W. Commercial Blvd. and 441st Street in a large shopping plaza. The place is small, simple, but with an incredible flavor, WOW! We ordered a Brown Stew Chicken which had an incredible flavor, and you can’t help but admire the prices They don’t even exist in a Chinese restaurant, no wonder there are lines of people buying their food at this place; that’s why my husband and I have come to the conclusion: it’s useless if the place has spectacular or extraordinary decor, if what will convince you is the flavor of their dishes. We will definitely return! Ahhh, not to mention that the service is very pleasant, the prices incredible, and the food sufficient and delicious. Why aren’t these places as well-known? For their humble decor? Don’t be fooled by the decor of the establishment or the dishes, focus on the flavor, which is what really counts.
