It was okay overall, but definitely plan to have at least two hours set aside. There was a 30–45 minute wait just to be seated, then about an hour before the chef arrived, followed by another 30 minutes for cooking.
The drinks were good, the food was good, and it was very noisy. It’s also on the expensive side, and not something I’d plan to do often or return to regularly.

The staff was so accommodating for my mom’s 70th birthday dinner! Everything was exceptional! We only had to wait about 10 minutes for our table. Even though we had a larger party of 11 they took care of us very well and seated us in an area that felt like all ours! The cooks and waitress were phenomenal!! And the food and service was perfect!!

My overall experience here was absolutely horrible. The manager Reggie was extremely rude and unprofessional to me and my party. His servers were also unprofessional and extremely uncoordinated. My soup was served cold because the server let it sit for a while even though we were the only party there on a Tuesday night. My whole birthday experience was ruined when the manager took upon himself to call me a child (I turned 22) and get upset at a simple question I asked. I would say the only good thing was our chef he was amazing and the food was great. I do not remember his name but he was a young man with dreads and a gold tooth. Overall I would not recommend this restaurant to any of my friends and family.

I’ve been to Benihana numerous times, but this experience was a complete disappointment. I gave it a 1 star because the internet won’t allow a -1.

If you’re looking to spend hundreds of dollars on food that’s mediocre at best, cold soup, and long waits for service, Benihana is the place for you.

When we’re celebrating or saving up for a nice dinner, we expect decent service and a good meal. This time, we wish we had saved $100 and gone to Applebee’s instead.

I’ve been to this chain restaurant many times, and I’m familiar with their standards. The food was bland and unseasoned, and the staff seemed disinterested. This particular restaurant didn’t care at all.

Do yourself a favor and save your money. Go to somewhere else.

I wouldn’t be so upset if the prices hadn’t gone up and the portions had gotten smaller. But with the cost of living rising, it’s no longer worth it.

I also noticed that the manager didn’t seem to care about us. We didn’t see them once, and no one checked on us.

I understand that there were a lot of open seats on a slow night, but that doesn’t excuse the poor service.

Also chain grocery stores and Walmart have a better cut of steak. Again $61 dollars for this Is unacceptable

Also if you want beef jerky, go to a gas station. It’s a better quality cut of meat. I made sure to use the best angle for the photo.

Chef Caroline with the pink hat was really really nice and accommodating. She handles all the meals on the table with finesse and at the same time remembered that I have a Shellfish + Peanut allergy.
Our host Jermaine was courteous and polite. He listened to our needs and orders with respect.
Thank you you both for your extra kind service.

Unfortunately disappointed with our visit
We had high expectations for this restaurant but left feeling let down. Despite having a 2pm reservation on a weekday with no wait time, we sat unattended for 30 minutes before anyone took our order, even though the restaurant was nearly empty.

Service Issues:
• Server man – black gentle man – was inattentive and seemed rushed when we tried to ask questions.
• Long wait times between courses
• Staff didn’t seem well-trained on the menu

Food & Performance:
• The teppanyaki chef’s skills were basic – the performance felt routine rather than engaging
• Food quality didn’t justify the price point; flavors were bland and presentation was average

Overall:
While we wanted to enjoy our experience here, the combination of poor service, mediocre food, and high prices made it hard to recommend. They needs significant improvements in staff training and food quality to match their pricing.

Rating: 1/5

We hope management takes feedback seriously as we’d be willing to give it another try if these issues are addressed.

AVOID EATING HERE!! We made reservations for 4 people at 6:45 for a birthday celebration. We were seated at 7:00. Then the fun began. The staff is very slow. After soup and salad with plastic forks because the dishwasher wasnt keeping up, we finally saw the chef at 8:00. He seemed confused and started talking to himself. He was very unfamiliar with the process. He cooked the meat at the very end after the rice and veggies were eaten. He forgot 2 pieces of chicken and the sauces came out late. The servers were not attentive due to so many tables being seated. Two tables got up and left after the rude staff and manager said that they should have made a reservation. We basically didn’t get any dessert or Happy Birthday song for my birthday. The server knew that it was my birthday. My wife spoke to the manager and she was very rude. She said they were understaffed. The staff was on their phones and chatting at the bar. Just a really poorly run business. We will not be back. Poor management and lazy staff. Not worth the $50 plus per person. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

Just had the most mediocre experience ever at Benihana. This was our first time in, celebrating Valentine’s Day, on the day after valentines. Was not busy, however we had to wait for our reservation. We ordered alcoholic beverages which did not come out until food was being cooked. Drinks that were brought out were wrong. Took almost until the end of the meal to get correct drinks. Hibachi chef appeared to be doing this for the first time. Dropped utensils, had to go back to kitchen multiple times, cross contamination out of control. Chef did no show, no tricks and even let us know he almost quit the night before. Overall for $200 for two people don’t waste your money. Much better dining experiences to be had for half the price. First time and last time here.

Food was on point! The fried rice was some of the best I’ve had and the scallops were perfect! The onion soup, steak, shrimp, and vegetables were all very good. Price point is a bit high, but when you go to a high end restaurant you should expect that. I also have to give a big shout out to our server Keara! She was kind, great attitude, and was very attentive to our needs. When I go back I will definitely ask to be seated at her table.
