Reviews
The drinks were good, the food was good, and it was very noisy. It’s also on the expensive side, and not something I’d plan to do often or return to regularly.
If you’re looking to spend hundreds of dollars on food that’s mediocre at best, cold soup, and long waits for service, Benihana is the place for you.
When we’re celebrating or saving up for a nice dinner, we expect decent service and a good meal. This time, we wish we had saved $100 and gone to Applebee’s instead.
I’ve been to this chain restaurant many times, and I’m familiar with their standards. The food was bland and unseasoned, and the staff seemed disinterested. This particular restaurant didn’t care at all.
Do yourself a favor and save your money. Go to somewhere else.
I wouldn’t be so upset if the prices hadn’t gone up and the portions had gotten smaller. But with the cost of living rising, it’s no longer worth it.
I also noticed that the manager didn’t seem to care about us. We didn’t see them once, and no one checked on us.
I understand that there were a lot of open seats on a slow night, but that doesn’t excuse the poor service.
Also chain grocery stores and Walmart have a better cut of steak. Again $61 dollars for this Is unacceptable
Also if you want beef jerky, go to a gas station. It’s a better quality cut of meat. I made sure to use the best angle for the photo.
Our host Jermaine was courteous and polite. He listened to our needs and orders with respect.
Thank you you both for your extra kind service.
We had high expectations for this restaurant but left feeling let down. Despite having a 2pm reservation on a weekday with no wait time, we sat unattended for 30 minutes before anyone took our order, even though the restaurant was nearly empty.
Service Issues:
• Server man – black gentle man – was inattentive and seemed rushed when we tried to ask questions.
• Long wait times between courses
• Staff didn’t seem well-trained on the menu
Food & Performance:
• The teppanyaki chef’s skills were basic – the performance felt routine rather than engaging
• Food quality didn’t justify the price point; flavors were bland and presentation was average
Overall:
While we wanted to enjoy our experience here, the combination of poor service, mediocre food, and high prices made it hard to recommend. They needs significant improvements in staff training and food quality to match their pricing.
Rating: 1/5
We hope management takes feedback seriously as we’d be willing to give it another try if these issues are addressed.
