Had dinner at The Keg and it was such a great experience. The steak was perfectly cooked juicy, flavorful, exactly how it should be. The atmosphere made the night feel special, and we honestly had an amazing time.
We topped it off with some champagne and just enjoyed the moment. Great food, great vibe, great memories. Definitely a spot worth going to.

Christmas Eve and our anniversary in one night? That’s a lot of pressure for a restaurant — and The Keg absolutely nailed it. The service was smooth, the atmosphere was cozy and festive, and the food was outstanding. But the real star was our waitress. She went above and beyond with her kindness, attention to detail, and genuinely caring service. She made sure we had everything we needed and somehow made the night feel personal, not rushed or “busy holiday” chaotic. We left feeling like we’d actually celebrated properly — and that’s priceless. Thank you, The Keg, for making our anniversary and Christmas Eve dinner truly memorable.

We could not praise Heidi enough We came for a dinner before our vacation to Mexico and her professionalism and dedication made our night!! The absolute best service we have experienced at a restaurant full stop! The food was fantastic too!

We were refused to be seated and could not eat here. My husband and I and my service/ guide dog I need walked into this keg restaurant, and the manager walked up to me and requested papers for my dog. I had no issues with showing him her ID card. She is with the Lions Foundation in Oakville. She wore a vest that had the Lions Foundation logo and her identification was legit. The manager refused with a big smile on his face and said those aren’t the papers I want to see. Lions Foundation has always given out cards not paper. This is my second service dog. I never have I had an issue. I told him that he can’t refuse us in with a service animal and then he can feel free to contact the Lions Foundation if he wishes or look up the foundation online. He stood beside me with a huge smile on his face, making comments and trying to get my husband upset. He then began to say/lie that my husband was swearing at him and that we were trespassing and we need to leave while waiting for the police to arrive. I told him to go ahead and call the police. I sat and waited as my husband waited in the car. He never swore. My husband was simply requesting for him to move away from me until the police arrive. I began recording because of his false allegations. The police arrived and let him know that he is not to refuse us to come into the restaurant with a guide dog. In the end we obviously didn’t want to stay and eat there with the lady’s at the desk and the manager at this restaurant making us feel very uncomfortable, laughing with each other over the situation, the false allegation and the overall rudeness. I couldn’t believe this was happening. We were at the keg in Windsor on Lakeview, where there was excellent service and my guide dog was even brought a bowl of water by a different waitress.
I couldn’t believe how we were treated and discriminated against. We will never go back to this location ever again and I don’t recommend anybody eating here as I’m sure there’s been several issues with this manager, and the way he deals with issues. Sad and very disappointing! The first picture was taken at the keg in Windsor with my service dog and her water bowl that the waitress brought her. The video following is myself trying to record to protect yourself against further false allegations. The man in this video is the manager of this location. He continually when the police arrived tried to get me to erase this video.

The service here is always great. Food is delicious! Would highly recommend this location. We were recently there in January for a party of 30! Our servers were amazing and food came out in reasonable time.

We’ve been to The Keg a couple of times over the last few weeks, and every visit has been incredible. The service, the food, the atmosphere—everything has been absolutely amazing. It does cost a bit more, but it’s always worth it because the experience is consistently top-notch.

Stopped here end of January as we were traveling through on our way up north due to the loss of a loved one. We were not dressed for The Keg (sweats and jeans for traveling) but needed a hearty dinner before continuing our journey in nasty weather. Seated promptly, took our order promptly as well. Treated as any other customer who might have come in wearing more suitable attire. ❤️ I asked for no raw onions in any of my dishes as I have an intolerance. The manager came to double check and make sure that the kitchen was prepping my food as required. I don’t have a dangerous allergy but I didn’t want to risk stomach upset while traveling and they were more than accommodating. Everything was delicious and they were prompt with our bill as well because they knew we wanted to get back on the road. 5 star food and service. Will stop there again when we can sure to hire great the service and management staff were. Great experience overall.

Completely forgot how good the keg was after years of neglecting it. Look, I like to refer to this spot as the Nobu for the lower class and I feel as though I may have been a bit too harsh. While the lower class does treat this place as a Nobu, it still delivers a helluva filet mignon.
