Nice friendly staff. Great service. Was greeted with a smile and prompt service. Food was flavourful and hot. A delight to the palette. The sweet ice tea is fantastic. The portions were generous plenty of food. Recommend this place.

It’s a small but cozy restaurant that serves delicious Chinese food. Prices are reasonable and the menu has a good selection of food. The food is freshly made and not reheated like some other restaurants across the border. The ice tea is one big reason I eat as it is great tasting.

This spot is dated #1. It is ok but over priced for the food you get. They used to give you a 2 item combo now it’s 1 item for like 20 bucks, drive 15 min north to luckys get double the amount of food that taste a lot better for the same price.

I went there for there Chinese new years party it was great they had a variety or drinks to start out with then they had some guest speakers from the city of calexico say a few words about what’s going on in the city followed by a prayer before the entertainment started by the calexico martial arts academy they had multiple dancing dragons with musicical drum beats to go along followed by an all you can eat Chinese buffet that was delicious I had some new dishes that I tried for the first time like duck it was interesting..can’t wait for next year’s party!!!

Stopped in to pick up order, tey were missing a plate. I walked back inside to inform the young lady. Waiter interrupted cashier and said if she wants she can pay for it if not nothings free without me speaking to him. I turned to address him and said no need To be disrespectful and said yes if you didn’t charge me please do. Waiter walks away talking under his breath and laughing. It’s sad to see so many businesses closed in calexico and the few left you have disrespectful employees.

This place has been in business for over 20 years and just gets better with age. I ordered the combination for 2 and had forgotten how great their pork fried rice was. The waiter was a young man who couldn’t have been nicer if he tired. He was very attentive and kept asking us if we needed anything else. There’s plenty of parking outside and the place is clean. But it’s the food that keeps you coming back. Do yourself a favor and when your in Calexico, California try out the Golden Dragon. You won’t be sorry. They also have plenty of seating inside to accommodate large size families. Great just plain great Chinese food. The food is reasonably priced.
