1/8/2025-Stopped in for lunch and had an incredible experience. The short rib sandwich was tender, smoky, and packed with flavor on thick, buttery, perfectly toasted bread. Every layer felt intentional—from the rich, fall-apart meat to the greens, mushrooms, and truffle aioli—this wasn’t just a sandwich, it was a full-bodied commitment.

The collard greens were seasoned beautifully—rich, soulful, and absolutely worth dipping the sandwich into the pot liquor.

I also ordered the deviled eggs with bacon (minus roe), and they were fantastic—creamy, well-balanced, and elevated by those crispy bacon bits.

I sat at the bar and received excellent service—warm, attentive, and professional. Real silverware and a cloth napkin at the bar may seem small, but it speaks to the level of care and intentionality here. The space was a little cool, but the food and service more than made up for it.

A thoughtful, delicious experience from start to finish. I’ll definitely be back.

Stopped by here for lunch. I’ll start off by saying that I would give it a 4.5 but can’t do halves. The service was good and attentive. The dining area is nice but needs a little attention as some of the ceiling tiles are loose with open gaps in the ceiling. Small detail but this is an upscale place. I ordered the catfish with potatoes and greens. The sides were great and the catfish was good but looked to be a little overcooked and dark. The dish came with two dipping sauces which both elevated the experience. One of the sauces was mustard based and amazing. Overall good food at a fair price for lunch. I have not tried dinner yet.

From the apps to the dessert, this place doesn’t disappoint. Fantastic flavors, amazing service, and great atmosphere! We were passing through and found this gem, but it’s worth a trip all by itself. Definitely a must! Make sure to save room for a dessert!

I had the pleasure of having lunch at The Noble South in Mobile, Alabama, with a few of my colleagues, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is charming—stylish yet comfortable—and perfect for a midday break or a casual business lunch.

I ordered the blackened catfish, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. It came with a crisp kale salad and some delicious fried potatoes—simple sides done exceptionally well. Portion sizes were satisfying without being overwhelming.

The service was warm and attentive, and our meals came out in great time, even though the restaurant was nicely busy. It’s always a treat to find a place that delivers both quality food and a great vibe. We left feeling happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

Stopped here for dinner as the menu sounded really interesting. We got a good spread and overall it was good. The small plates and appetizers seem to be where they shine. The dinner and the dessert were good but not amazing. We found them to be a little bland but it could have just been an off night. The location is very nice and the atmosphere is adorable. We found the staff very friendly and accommodating. We ordered the deviled eggs ( delicious) , the pickled shrimp (delicious), the blue cheese jam sourdough (good the blue cheese was a little strong to me but the bread was excellent), the hot honey fried game bird ( excellent), shrimp and grits (good a little bland) , the swordfish schnitzel (good a little bland as well and heavy), apple cobbler ( good) and the banana pudding (ok we didn’t like it very much but it wasn’t bad). Overall a cool place to stop and we really liked the atmosphere, apps and small plates.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Wonderful Experience!

We had an amazing dinner at The Noble South in Mobile. Our server, Trent, made the entire evening exceptional for me, my husband, and our five-year-old daughter. He was warm, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful — he even brought something for our daughter to draw with, which made her night and allowed us to enjoy a relaxed meal.

The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was welcoming, and Trent’s service truly elevated the whole experience. We felt genuinely cared for from start to finish.

Highly recommend The Noble South — and if you can, ask for Trent!

From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, the experience is wow. Walking in to a light, bright atrium filled with happy people, smiling and enjoying the food as much as the company. The staff was bubbly, knowledgeable, and helpful while giving us the chance to relax and choose the flow of our meal. The menu was diverse and interesting – rarely do I have trouble choosing a dish these days! The trout was a show stopper. Bright, light, perfectly cooked fish with fresh herbs, some citrus, and vegetables to add texture without taking away from the star. “Why the steak?” I asked, since you can order it anywhere. Well, let me tell you that this is not just a steak. The cook, the tenderness, the flavor, the sauce, the sides…this is a steak dish to remember. This restaurant could easily be Michelin Bib Gourmand. Definitely visit if you’re in town.

Ordered all 6 dinner dishes they had and every one of them was delicious. Everything was unique compared to other restaurants. Each dish has at least 4 flavors going on, all complimenting each other. I’d say the best was either the duck or the shrimp and grits. But the short ribs was a top notch piece of meat cooked just right. And the peaches and cream dessert was awesome.

We didn’t have a reservation but you can eat at the bar! We shared small plates so we would have room for dessert 🙂 The pate was smooth and flavorful, with house made sourdough & pickles and the beef cheek with nut risotto was tender and delicious. Follow up with 2 desserts – apple cobbler and chocolate pie – not too sweet, just right! Great bartender, great service, great food!
