The food itself was absolute perfection—golden, fluffy pancakes that tasted like pure comfort, eggs cooked exactly the way I wanted, crispy bacon, and a hearty meal that somehow tasted even better because Donna made sure everything came out hot, fresh, and flawless, and every bite felt like it was made with care; every time Donna stopped by to refill my coffee (which was never empty, thanks to her), she asked how everything was with such sincerity that it felt like she truly cared, and that kind of service is rare and special. I love how Donna laughed along with customers, remembered small details, and made the whole place feel alive and joyful, and I genuinely left Denny’s not just full and satisfied, but happy, because great food is wonderful, but great service—Donna-level service—turns a meal into a memory. As a European, driving here from San Diego, I just love these places that we see in so many TV series and movies! There’s this amazing diner at a truck stop out in the middle of nowhere, where you can fill up on coffee, a burger and a bit of local colour. Yuma does not disappoint – I had the Tex-Mex chicken with a side salad for lunch. I quickly realised that SALAD is not a priority in this part of Arizona! The service was great, the music on the box was good, and they even had beer! You get fed and are out of there within an hour. Thank you guys – you really made an impression!
