Wow. The Jerk Salmon was tun up! My first time and can say this was the best jerk salmon I have had outside of Jamaica and the best in Los Angeles. First I was greeted by Roberto who was so welcoming. It was my first time so I had a few questions which he was kind to take time and answer. Even the chef answered a few. The welcoming was honorable like in Jamaica.

The atmosphere is chill with music, scenes candles, chill Jamaican vibe.they have two tables inside. While I was there they had at least 10 people come in to order or pick up to go.

When the jerk salmon came. Roberto kinda presented the dish and drink accordingly. When I took my first bite took me back to Jamaica. The flavors and spices merged perfectly with the salmon, rice, plantains, cabbage, and seemed like a little Johnny Cake. But wow the flavors. Each bite had unique and different flavors from thr jerk sauce. Just amazing. Also their pineapple ginger juice is the bomb. Must try. Their menu Is unique by having a selection with additional selections for each day of the week. I highly recommend. Thank you. I will be back for sure. Ciao!

Food quality 10/10. Portion size 10/10. Choices 10/10. Flavors 10/10. Atmosphere and welcoming 10/10. Cleanliness 10/10.

I’M from South Florida, Broward County!!!!
I’ve been looking for a good Jamaican restaurant..
And Im pretty sure I’ve found it.
These oxtails are 10 out of 10.
And the look at the portion. Not to mention the tenderness.
I will be back..
Can’t wait try the snapper.

We stopped here while in LA because my son wanted some oxtails for his birthday. The gentleman that took our order and served us was very sweet and accommodating. We enjoyed everything that we ate. The jerk chicken had some real spice to it, if you cannot handle the heat, do not order the jerk chicken. It was very flavorful and almost tasted smoked. The kids loved the watermelon and mango juice.

While visiting LA my friends and I had a craving for Jamaican food…We looked online and found Gold Spoon Restaurant….what a beautiful blessing. The place was clean and beautifully decorated…
The FOOD WAS AMAZING…..AMAZING…COOKED JUST LIKE MY MOM would….Best stop we could have made…They allowed us to taste the freshly made drinks and we picked the Soursop..Pineapple Ginger and Passion Fruit….took them home and had to share with everyone. We loved the atmosphere and the owners were welcoming. If you’re in the mood for authentic Jamaican food please stop by…you will not be disappointed. Definitely plans set to visit again

I got a large jerk chicken and a ginger pineapple drink. It’s delicious an the spiciness is perfect, it really got me sweating. The chicken is incredibly tender and fell off the bone! The rice was cooked perfectly and very tasty. I liked that it came with a small cup of jerk marinade with bits of chicken. The only downside is it only came with 3 pieces of plantain. I definitely will be back

Food was really good. We ordered curry chicken, oxtail, and jerk chicken. The jerk chicken is VERY spicy so make sure to also get the fresh juice. The pine ginger is great, but sorrel is always my #1 choice. Customer service was phenomenal, and the environment is really chill. The gentleman who works there is very welcoming.

Authentic Caribbean food with Great service, yes you heard me right, great service!!

I ordered the medium size jerk chicken plate and was 9/10 (I’m no spice King) flavorful tender (meat falls off the bone), and made with love.

Best in the City, I will be back.

Anytime I’m out of the LBC and in LA, I eat here. My big back self can’t get enough of the curry goat or jerk chicken. If you’re a fan of oxtail, it’s also top tier. Entrees come with rice and beans as well as some cabbage with mixed veggies. It’s not to be slept on.
I also recommend the fresh juices. Pineapple/ ginger is my favorite. It’s snappy.
This is primarily a to-go, take-away or para-llevar spot as there are two small tables inside. There is short term street parking usually available right outside.
Don’t miss a chance to try this spot.

Best Jamaican food in LA. Hands down. I do not care. From Jamaica born and raised, this is as close as you get to it on the westside.

Love it. Come here. You won’t be disappointed AT ALL!!

Side note: don’t call too early unless you’re on the way because the food is fresh!

Curry chicken was amazing.. oxtails yummy. Jerk chicken was too hot and drowned in jerk sauce to enjoy.
Cabbage and rice wasn’t bad .
Many items were not available on menu because they were out of stock which was disappointing.
I’d only return for the curry chicken
