The chicken strips were great. Good crunch. Juicy. Juicy.
The biscuit was divine.
Chicken breast and legs were decent.
Sides of mac and cheese and mashed potatoes and gravy were just okay.
Bbq and honey mustard sauces were good. Skip the chipotle ranch
Service 10/10. Told her it was my first time. She was so pleased. Gave me guidance through my order. Then came to check on me mid meal. So kind. Service like that will absolutely bring me back.

Lee’s has the reputation of being the best chicken in Richmond. Based on our meals, the rep is well-deserved. Chicken strips cooked perfectly. Sides are very tasty. The biscuit is amazing. We ate at one of their tables, but noted for future reference that the drive-through line was long, so plan accordingly. It’s worth it. We will be back for more chicken, the Mac&cheese, and definitely the biscuits!

Love this place and the staff! A must stop if you’re in Richmond. Chicken is always hot and fresh. Great tasting biscuits. Service is always fast and efficient, including drive-thru. Staff is always courteous, friendly/happy, respectful. I keep forgetting to write this review but had to do it today. In all the surroundong snow and ice they were like a ray of sunshine, shining stars! Great job

Great chicken. Love it and all the sides. Only hang up is napkins! On a drive thru order the only napkin given is in the wrapper with the fork.

I’ve been coming to this Lee’s Famous Chicken location for about four years now, and they never disappoint. Coming from up north, I was honestly blown away the first time. The flavor, the tenderness, the sweet tea, and those sauces that will absolutely knock your socks off. This place sets the bar.
Today I finally had to leave a review because the customer service sealed the deal. Claire at the drive-thru was AMAZING. Truly hospitable, pleasant, and genuinely helpful. The kind of service that makes you smile before you even get your food.
Great food is one thing, but great food paired with great people is what keeps customers coming back year after year. Thank you, Claire, and thank you Lee’s for staying consistent. ✨

Fried Chicken was delicious. Long line at the drive-thru but it was worth the wait. Honestly, the biscuit probably was better than the fried Chicken even though the fried chicken was good. They even gave me an extra piece. Understand why it was a long line at the drive-thru because people know it’s good. Once I got up to the drive-thru window it was super fast.

The drive-through line was long, however it moves very fast! I was greeted at the speaker by very kind voice that did not rush me when ordering! The food was fresh, crispy, and delicious. The sweet tea was good as well. Well worth the 30 minute drive!

I stopped by Lee’s Chicken in Richmond, VA and left impressed.
The store looked clean and felt calm. The line moved without confusion. No loud chaos like you see in a lot of fast food spots right now.
My cashier came across pleasant, soft spoken, and prepared. She answered questions fast and knew what the store offered.
I plan to come back. I trust the service. I trust the environment.

I ate at this place a few times, this time was the worst. The cashier did not know what she was doing. The chicken was so salty that my hand was numb. I spoke to the manager she accused me of trying to get free food me of all people after I tipped everyone 20 dollars last time. The chicken was so salty even my daughter told them it was and she is only 5. But they did give me my money back. That place is not the same. And on top of that the chicken was smelling rotten and old. I smelled the bone on the inside. It smelled very bad

Some of the best fried chicken in town. I was always a Ukrops fried chicken fan, but after their closing it’s been too difficult to go to the new Ukrops Hall Market at The Village. Publix has great fried chicken and very close to Ukrops; Bojangles is nice and spicy, but if you want truly great fried chicken, then Lee’s is your only bet in Richmond.
