Bootleggers is a family owned Restaurant that has served the Amherst area and beyond since 2011. We proudly use locally raised beef and other fresh ingredients to provide you with a delicious meal at a reasonable price. Our dishes are prepared in-house and include homemade pizzas, hand-pattied burgers, and hand-battered fish, chicken, & appetizers. On weekends enjoy meats fresh off the grill or smoker. Enjoy the outdoors and beautiful landscaping as you sit under Bootlegger’s newly added pavilion. With seating for up to 100 people, the pavilion with its adjoining firepit is perfect for everything from large get togethers to a casual outdoor lunch. I dined in here tonight with my son and in-laws. My family-in-laws have been living here for years but have never tried this restaurant before.
The restaurant serves free salad and soup. Today’s soup was ham & pea, and surprisingly, there was so much ham in it.
My mother-in-law and I ordered baked haddock and mashed potato with butter ranch on the side. We also had Spotted Cow beer.
Other family members tried a fish sandwich with fries and a burger woth homemade chips, and everybody loved their food.
Total of 2 lemonade, 3 bottles of beer and 2 baked haddock, 1 fish sandwich & 1 burger were $66 before tax. They even gave us free dessert because it was Friday. My mother-in-law loved the dessert so much!
My family-in-laws were impressed with service from our server. They truly loved the foods from here.
I highly recommend this restaurant if you are visiting or living near here.

Great little small town Wisconsin dive bar and restaurant! The pizza is absolute fire! The Italian beef will give anything from Chicago a run for its money. Stop here! Check it off your list.

We went for the Easter Brunch as a family. There was a wide variety of brunch foods. We had a very nice time! The French Toast bake was awesome as was the ham and meatballs.

Bootlegger’s offers decent bar food, though the burger and chicken sandwich we ordered were fairly average. However, the outdoor seating area was a highlight—cozy and inviting. The bartender and server were both friendly and provided quick, attentive service, making the experience enjoyable overall.

We were there on a Friday and they were out of soup and had no croutons at the salad bar…. It was 5:45. The red potato mashed with the fish fry was excellent as we’re the salad dressings.service was good..fish not so much

Great fish fry. We love their shrimp dinner. Unfortunately, the distributor did not come through, and they were out. Love the soup and salad bar on Fridays…nice touch! The homemade chips are delicious!
