Me and my friends have been regulars at AK Sushi for a while now, it has become our favourite spot! We always come for AYCE, and the overall experience is always amazing. The staff are very friendly and the food never disappoints. 10/10, love this place!

Bought some take-out sushi from AK Sushi. The restaurant is clean and the staff are very welcoming. One staff member even gave my son a cute little toy and a small bag of chips upon our arrival – so thoughtful! The quality of the food is superb! – Extremely fresh and flavourful. Food was good and service was very quick, the portion sizes were small enough that you were able to eat more and properly try multiple dishes, $75 for 2 people for all-you-can-eat. Just be mindful that ordering rolls is typically 6+ pieces, I felt bad having to waste what we did since I wasn’t anticipating that quantity. Also the ice cream was great but the mouse and tiramisu was more brownie like than mouse lol but still good, would go back !

I wanted to try them after the new ownership change and name change and was very excited to, but unfortunately I’m super unhappy with the food I’ve tried here. There were a few staples that are my go to from the previous place so I tried to order the same or similar and the taste just does not match up. Something about the rolls do not taste the same (ie dragon rolls, and the fried roll has 2 extra things inside but does not taste good in my opinion with the cheese), even the salmon sashimi has a mushy texture and does not look fresh. And the spicy mayo is soooo dark compared to a lighter less overpowering spicy taste that I prefer and have had at most other sushi places. And I miss the bbq beef short ribs which they dont have but are a go to of mine so that made me sad they did not have it. Ive ordered twice now to give it another chance after the first time but still disappointed. I much prefer the tastes and items that Do Eat Sushi had when it was in business and I was a regular, so I will genuinely miss them being there. Safe to say I will not be ordering or eating here again unfortunately.

The food here was absolutely REVOLTING. Never in my life have I had such DISGUSTING sushi. If you value good or even decent food, DO NOT order here. I was sickened by the slimy and soggy texture of the rolls. I was appalled by the putrid taste of mismatched ingredients melted into pig slop. The stringy rows of cucumber at the bottom of the sushi was also not necessary. All in all, I hope I don’t get food poisoning from these rolls of terrors.

First time here since it changed owners. I wish the negative reviews were true but for my experience here with my kids for a celebration dinner, they were correct. It started with no one seating us or welcoming us, we asked to be sat, they pointed and we sat. We never received water, side plates or napkins. The iPad was left with us and we ordered sushi and sashimi first. Then the rest. The sushi and sashimi were never brought to us. At all. We finally asked at the end and the waiter told us the chef missed the order (there was only 1 other table sat). Water was never refilled. The food that came fast was the cheap filler food like udon noodles and stir fry. I don’t dine out much and was very much looking forward to this dinner and it was completely disappointed. I would definitely take my money elsewhere for ACYE.
