Gusto Pinsa Romana in San Francisco is a hidden gem! Their pinsas are absolute perfection – the crust is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. I went with the PATATA E SALCICCIAand it was ! and my partner had the PROSCIUTTO E FICHI.
The cappuccino is one of the best I’ve had in the city, with a perfect balance of espresso and foam. And the cannoli dessert? OMG, the shell was crunchy and the ricotta filling was creamy and sweet – a match made in heaven .

Outstanding. I am something of a pizza/pinsa fanatic, have travelled Italy extensively and live in Spain. The Pinsa I enjoyed at Gusto was the exquisite by any measure. The dough was perfect – crispy yet soft, just the right thickness. Tomato sauce clearly made fresh in-house, wonderful flavour. Authentic toppings with vibrant taste, applied in such a way that no one ingredient takes over. Well done, really.
