I recently visited Barshala, and the experience was delightful from start to finish. The atmosphere is casual yet vibrant, making it a great spot to enjoy authentic Indian street-style flavors.

• Honey Chilli Potato: Crispy, golden potatoes tossed in a sweet-and-spicy glaze. The balance of heat and sweetness was spot on, with just the right crunch. It’s the kind of dish that keeps you reaching for one more bite.

• Papdi Chaat: A burst of flavors and textures—crispy papdi, cool yogurt, tangy chutneys, and a sprinkle of spices. Every bite felt refreshing and perfectly layered, capturing the essence of classic Indian chaat.

The service was friendly, and the food arrived quickly, which added to the overall positive experience. Both dishes showcased the restaurant’s knack for delivering authentic taste with a modern touch.

If you’re craving Indian street food in a cozy setting, Barshala is definitely worth a visit.

I recently visited this restaurant over the weekend and while the food and ambience were good, I wanted to share some important feedback regarding the service.

It was quite surprising to see that only one server was managing the entire floor on a weekend. She was taking orders, making drinks, serving tables, and handling billing completely on her own. Weekends are typically the busiest time, and expecting a single person to manage everything felt unreasonable.

Despite the heavy workload, the server truly did her best. She remained polite, professional, and continued working nonstop. This review is absolutely not a complaint about her — she handled the situation admirably. However, it was very clear that she was stretched too thin.

I strongly feel that management should schedule at least one or two additional staff members during peak weekend hours. It would significantly improve the customer experience and also ensure fair working conditions for employees.

I hope this feedback is taken constructively.

Had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, well-prepared, and full of flavor. The ambience was warm and inviting, making it a comfortable spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The service was prompt and courteous, which really added to the overall positive experience. The washroom was clean and well-maintained. Another major plus is that the restaurant is open late at night, unlike many other places in the area. It’s definitely a go-to option if you’re looking for a good place to eat at night.

Worst experience ever. Did upset our stomach here.

Order momo’s which were okayish (not bad). For the main course, we had paneer tikka masala (servers recommendation) which was extremely extremely salty. We had to request it to be changed. They got us paneer labadar in replacement, watery gravy with uncooked paneer pieces inside which doesn’t even mix with the gravy. We literally left everything uneaten. We ordered just 1 curry and 2 naan and left most of it. Extremely bad experience.

I would have given 0 if that was an option.

Had paneer makhni with butter naan during my visit. The food was tasty and satisfying, but the service was just average and could be improved.

I’ll begin with positive. It was quiet. Good food. Good presentation. We loved their the family food. On the contrary, the taste of the food wasn’t great. Everything was tasted a bit like overdue a little bit stale and we were missing the intentiveness on the food and even the cleanliness of the desk wasn’t on the expectation. Yeah I gave three star because it was OK. WE DIDN’T ENJOY AS MUCH AS WE EXPECTED.

We ordered Tandoori Momos and Paneer Tikka, but later replaced the Paneer Tikka with Paneer Lababdar. The Tandoori Momos were just okay — they lacked the authentic tandoori flavor. The Paneer Tikka was extremely salty after just one or two bites, I started feeling nauseous. We immediately informed the restaurant staff and decided to change the dish to Paneer Lababdar. Unfortunately, that curry was also disappointing — it was watery, with just some spices and paneer pieces floating in it. Overall, it was a complete waste of money and mood. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all — unless you want to ruin your day and upset your stomach.

Five of us dined here recently and it was honestly incredible. The food was delicious and authentic, but the service was next level. Pranjal really went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.
We had a great time and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!
