Ate here twice and the food was simply amazing.
First time we ate the service was exemplary but on 2nd time the young lad was far too arrogant for his own good. I am assuming given he was not wearing the resort polo top but a white shirt he might have been more senior – he was dismissive, didn’t bring a menu after seating us, didn’t bring water and when he finally took order seemed very disinterested.
I had prawn chettinad as one of the meals on the first visit and the waiter was very concerned it might be too spicy, especially given my wife had asked for her meal to be a tad less spicy. I said it’ll be fine at usual levels and it was. Yes there was a definite kick but one that enhanced the dish.
The breads were fresh cooked and the best we had on the trip
It was nice to see such knowledge of the menu and concern for the customer.
Chai was nice, fresh lemon soda great and sweet lassi really nice.

We visited this amazing restaurant some weeks ago, and it instantly became one of our favourites in Havelock. It’s just opposite Wild Orchid Resort, which made it incredibly convenient for us. Their multicuisine menu is great, but the real highlight is the seafood. You can pick your own lobster, crab, or fresh fish from the live counter, with options for every budget. We tried the grilled mangrove jack fish wrapped in banana leaf—fantastic flavour—and the crab masala was equally amazing. You may also try their chicken and fish thalis for lunch.
The nighttime ambience is wonderful—warm lights, breezy vibes, and the perfect backdrop for your next Instagram story. The staff members are polite and professional, and the owner personally helps you decide what to order. Always a bonus for indecisive foodies!

A must-visit place for seafood lovers in Havelock! The food is fresh, flavourful, and truly feels like coastal home-style cooking. We tried the grilled fish and prawn masala — both were perfectly cooked with authentic spices. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable for the quality.
The crabs are in a huge bucket and if interested one can have it’s pick and they cook it for you.
The staff is polite and service is quick, even when the place gets busy. They recommend too if asked to. One can expect to wait if it’s full inside.
Simple ambience, but the taste more than makes up for it. If you want fresh catch of the day without fancy frills, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Food was really good especially the crab, the freshness and the tastiness of the dish prepared by them is out of the world. The man in the photo is an absolute superstar, very helpful and kind. He’s the reason why i’m giving it 4 stars. Always asking and checking up to see if everything is ok, best man. I found the rest of the staff a bit lost which is why 1 star is lost. Maybe if everyone was remotely close to the man in the photo, it would get full stars. Regardless, definitely recommend trying this place out if you’re in Havelock Island.
