San Pocho Colombian Restaurant is absolutely incredible! The food was amazing—fresh, hot, savory, and bursting with authentic flavor in every bite. The arepas with cheese are out of this world, perfectly golden and gooey, and the hot chocolate? Pure — rich, comforting, and unforgettable. The Colombian-themed atmosphere really transports you; it’s colorful, vibrant, and full of life. They even have all kinds of Colombian treats, snacks, and cooking essentials available to take home! And don’t even get me started on their aji—it’s the perfect match for the chicken and beef empanadas, adding just the right kick. I’m honestly speechless. This place is a true treasure and a must-visit spot in Little Havana for anyone craving authentic Colombian comfort food done right! ❤️

I was walking in Calle 8 looking for a spot to eat some breakfast and Sanpocho Restaurant was right there, Colombian cuisine.
The atmosphere is family style for a casual and quick stop, do not expect too much and if you are dressed up, this is not the place.
We ordered American coffee, arepa and scrambled eggs with ham, also pan de bono, food was decent. If you go tell them Flavia Sent You.

This cafeteria used to be the best of Colombian food the area. Not now, their prices are exepnsive for beans and rice. Expect $30 for a tray or meet and rice and beans. Soups are $15 to $25. The soup was bad. I could not eat it. The beans were ok. Nothing special.
They add 20% to your check if you pay with a credit card.
In general food was poorly prepared and prsentation was mediocre. When you get into the $ 35 to $ 50 meal per person expectations are higher.

Had an incredible late-night bite at San Pocho on Calle Ocho and it did not disappoint! (it never does!, been coming here for years). We walked in around 10 PM, just an hour before closing, and you’d think we were the first customers of the day with how fresh everything was.

We ordered six empanadas, a sancocho de res, and a beef wrap off their late-night menu, and wow, every bite was amazing. The empanadas were crispy and perfectly seasoned, the sancocho was rich, comforting, and full of flavor, and the beef wrap was juicy and loaded with goodness.

Even that close to closing, the staff was so welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The service was top-tier, the food came out hot and fresh, and the best part? The prices were super reasonable for the quality and portions we got.

Highly recommend if you’re in Little Havana and craving authentic Colombian flavors, especially late at night. Will 100% be coming back!

Really likes this place in the heart of Little Havana. Great service. The food was really good and super tasteful. The ambiance was on point. I felt like if I was in a small town in Colombia surrounded by typical local art and a desirable feeling of perfection. A must do place whenever you are in the area.

After moving to the area, I was looking for a good place with good food that doesn’t break the bank, San Pocho delivers.

The service was spot on during the busy lunch hour. Most tables were taken in the big restaurant at about 2 in the afternoon on a weekday. Always a good sign. The clientele varied widely too. I ordered from the Daily Lunch specials and was very happy with my choice. The meal came with the main protein and three sides. The chicken was super moist and fell off the bone.

Overall, this is a great choice for lunch and probably dinner. Can’t wait to come back and try other items off the menu.

Beware of the sauces. They were sour and tasted rancid, and then we found out that they were passed their expiration when I went yesterday. After I consumed them, they tried to offer me a replacement for food. When I said no, the server gave me an attitude saying, “Oh well, I will pay for the food” then, I realized they started disposing all the sauces because of the expired smell that came from each bottle as they checked them.

They wanted to dispose of the issue immediately and avoid any further issues as all of the sauces had gone bad.

PD. No apologies from the server was made
