Gjusta Bakery is so good. The croissant French toast was unreal — crispy, buttery, and unforgettable. The loaded bagels were amazing, and I grabbed a sourdough baguette to go that was perfection.

The shakshuka breakfast was delicious with great flavor and a little on the spicy side. I’m kind of a pansy with heat , but if you like spicy, it’s absolutely for you. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and totally worth the hype.

It’s more than a meal, it’s an experience.
From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by incredible aromas and a beautiful display of products. Sitting at the bar is a treat on its own, watching the seamless harmony behind the counter.
The staff are true professionals, friendly, efficient, attentive to details, and clearly passionate about what they do.
Even though it’s a busy venue, the wait feels effortless, especially while enjoying the view and taking your time with the menu.
We ended up ordering twice, after the first one we were still craving items from the menu, because everything sounded too good to miss.
Definitely a place worth visiting

I stopped by Gjusta for breakfast and was absolutely blown away. I ordered the Brisket Hash, and it was stunning—the brisket was so tender it practically melted in my mouth, and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. Easily one of the best breakfast dishes I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend.

I also tried the French toast, which was massive and indulgent in the best way. Crispy on the outside, soft and gooey in the center, and paired beautifully with a rich blueberry sauce. A total treat.

The ordering process is a bit unique: the express lane is designed for quick orders and takeout. You pull a number near the register, and they’ll call you up when it’s your turn to order. My brisket hash came out about five minutes before the French toast, which was perfect timing. Seating inside is limited, but there’s a beautiful patio that’s worth grabbing a spot on if the weather’s nice.

I lived around the block for a year and came here often, so I feel this review is well earned given the consistent quality of both the food and the service. My favorites are the fresh juices, the coffee, anything with seafood and sourdough. My favorite thing was the salmon Roel bagel

My absolute favorite brunch spot in LA!! Even though it’s a bakery it’s not only about the bread. The shakshouka was spot on and the brisket in the banh mi was just so tender and juicy. The outdoor seating is perfect for a sunny day. There’s a lot of veggie options as well. Just grab a ticket immediately as you walk in as the lines get long real fast.

A must when visiting LA (Venice). Incredible baked goods and a wide array of lunch options. Excellent coffee. Their outdoor area is a mix of communal tables and smaller 4-tops. Well thought out shade helps block that California sun so you can sit for hours and just enjoy being there.

If you’re looking for a croissant that’s perfectly crispy on the outside and moist and soft on the inside, this is a must-visit. The Sesame Croissant was absolutely delicious. I also tried the Pistachio Orange Cookie, which wasn’t too sweet—the natural orange flavor made it a perfect pair for coffee or tea.Since it’s a very popular spot and can get quite crowded, I recommend using the express line to grab your pastries and drinks, then enjoying them in the sun on the outdoor seating. I’m definitely going back early in the morning for brunch next time!

Order first. Then go find a seat. In that order.

The customers ruin what could be a much better dining experience/environment. People ignore the signs and think they can do whatever they want. They disrespect the institution, the owners, and other diners. There are signs posted all over that pets are not allowed but people bring them INSIDE the building where food is being prepped…and on the patio where there are additional signs. One dog was growling and barking at people, too.

Food is decent. Wasn’t blown away. But the pricing was high considering the portions.

Things are self serve for water, cups, utensils, napkins, and to go containers and bags. When you ask staff for things, they point you to the shelf so you can get it yourself. But the tipping when you order (before you sit) starts at 18% (goes above 20% if you want). But there wasn’t much by way of service compared to other places where you are actually served throughout the meal. Staff will bring food to your table and clear the table, but if you need anything during your meal other than that, go find it yourself.

Another amazing brunch at Gjusta!
Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The bagels were the stars—one topped with a perfectly cooked egg and creamy spread, the other loaded with vibrant veggies, herbs, and sprouts. The croissant was buttery with just the right amount of flakiness. My cappuccino was smooth and rich, and the iced matcha was refreshing without being too sweet.

Gjusta never disappoints—great vibes, delicious food, and the kind of quality that makes you want to come back again and again. ✨

It was good but they need to work on their order taking . If people pay so much and they have to wait an hour only to order , it doesent make sense. Also the juice servings are like for a 4 year old. French fries should have been hot but were cold . Sandwiches were good. I don’t think I would come again.
